MLA Continuing Education class: Wikis - March 9-15

Hi all,

The MLA Dig Deeper with Social Media short course on wikis begins this
week.
This class runs March 9th – 15th, 2009.

Course content & instructions for learning activities are now
available on the Dig Deeper blog:

In addition, all class registrants should have received an email from
do-not...@pbwiki.com with the subject line: “mkn...@lsuhsc.edu has
invited you to join their wiki, digdeeperwiki”
Anyone can view our Dig Deeper wiki, but only invited people can edit
it.

Let me know if you have not received an invitation yet, or have
trouble accessing the wiki.

Course Content:
2 Discovery exercises and 1 cumulative exercise make up this course.
First, you will locate 5 wiki resources. Then you will gain
familiarity with the PBwiki platform by editing the 'Sandbox' page in
the Dig Deeper wiki. Finally, you will choose one of your 5 wiki
resources, annotate it, and post it to one of the 5 pages on the Dig
Deeper wiki. Detailed instructions are available on the course blog,
as well as in the Dig Deeper wiki. Finally, remember to submit your
work! The blog and the wiki both have links to submit your progress
when you are finished annotating the wiki.

Getting help:
The Google group is set so that only instructors can post information.

comment on the blog or wiki.
