BE Conference: PLENARY SPEAKER - Daniela Moyetta

We are delighted to announce Daniela Moyetta as a plenary speaker at the 6th APIBA Business English Conference.

Daniela Moyetta is a Professor of English and holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, where she teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests include English for Specific and Academic Purposes, genre-based pedagogy, specialised discourse, and the role of the ESP practitioner within the broader social dimensions of ESP in higher education.

In her plenary session, “Beyond Language: Past Legacies, Present Tensions, and Emerging Futures in ESP,” Daniela will revisit English for Specific and Academic Purposes through a critical and forward-looking lens. Her talk will explore the field’s historical foundations alongside current challenges in higher education, while also addressing the evolving social role of practitioners.
