How can we address unequal access to education, linguistic and human rights in our contexts? This talk presents ‘Puente entre lenguas’, an intercultural literature workshop for children as an opportunity to drive social change. Through critical pedagogies, translanguaging and intercultural citizenship, ELT trainees, professionals and migrant communities advance social justice using English as a catalyst for equality and empowerment.
