Many years ago, I started to play football manager games. The first one was Championship manager 96/97, known as Championship manager 2. You could choose only three leagues and publisher was Eidos Interactive. This is starting point of my football manager passion, later passed from desktop to mobile versions. I could talk for hours about CM series, later on FM series, but this is not main point of this text.

Right now, I will focus only on mobile version of football managers. At this moment, you could download a lot of high quality and low quality football manager. List is impressive, included Football manager, both mobile and touch, Top Eleven, Championship manager, Total Football manager, GOAL Football manager, Soccer manager, Fantasy manager, Golden manager etc. Few of these really have impressive graphics, interface, but only few are user friendly and gameplay is great.

Both have live matches, both in 2D. Movements of players are more real in Football manager. Physics of players, also. Maybe because of more experience in football manager games. SI guys are veterans, of course, not in mobile segment, but generally yes. They just copy live match engine from desktop to mobile. There are moments in Top Eleven live matches, where players send strange passes and move totally different from real life events.

But, if you choose Top Eleven, every player starts from scratch, have same chance to become the best and to customize squad as want. If you want to be aggressive and to win everything, you will use your bank account and buy tokens, invest in players, get the best out there and win everything with approach of real life manager. I mean to set tactics, to perform trainings etc. Depending on strength of your squad and how fast you advance from level to level. Last thing, from time to time, game will send you three players, very quality player and you could buy one of them for... Guess? Tokens, of course. But, listen, game have many ways to help you with earnign tokens and also Top Eleven social media channels, gave tokens as a gifts from time to time, through activation posts. They are really good at that, and gain a lot of interactions from fans. Check it!

In Top Eleven you can customize equipment, emblem, buy shirt of your favorite club or emblem, and become Liverpool or Real Madrid. Or become Biggleswade United for free. In Football Manager, you are real life club. No customisation, no creativity. But, you are manager of real club, Man Utd, for example. This is clear to you, depending on what you really want.

In Top Eleven, you have full control, not only managerial control. You will sign contracts with sponsors and TV stations, decide about ticket prices and building ground (stadium, parking, utilities, youth academy, training centre and medical centre). Some football manager games fans, said that Football manager keeps original duties of manager. This is true. You are not a chairman or finance director or operations director. You must focus on your team and team performance. You could be asked from others for advice about all this extra things. I consider Football Manager as favorite in this battle.
