Convert NIfTI .nii file to Track .trk file

The data format that I am working with is .nii.gz I am looking to create a .trk file format from the NIfTI files.
I have tried the Diffusion Toolkit offered by TrackVis, but I could NOT progress. The program fails to find the file. (I assume the file format is not correct for this task, or maybe I am doing something incorrectly IDK)

If you know how to solve this problem please inform me. Also, I am open to learning new tools to create fiber tracks in .trk file
I am very new in this field, so please do not hesitate to share basic information.
