issue on ubuntu 24.04 for pdfgui2

Dear all,

I have a new pc with Ubuntu 24.04. I installed pdfgui2 (no issue with the installation).

When I start it, this is what I get. I tried looking for similar issues, but got no result.

what am I missing?

THanks Monica,

I recognize that error and I think we have a fix.  I am not sure if everything is pushed all the way out.  

Sorry to ask, but please can you copy-paste exactly the commands you used to do the installation (you may have to redo the installation to get that....sorry!).  I think we can send you a set of commands that will work.....

A new release of PDFgui is on the way which should fix the problem in general.

I did exactly what is written on the web site. I have anaconda installed (not mini). 

After installation (nothing went wrong) I tried the command directly and i got that error. Same exact thing happened on another pc with the same Ubuntu version
