We are pleased to announce a new release of PDFgui and PDFfit2

These new versions do not have new functionality, but fix a number of known bugs (not all sadly!), but more importantly, work on the latest versions of Python and numpy.  There are also working builds for Mac OS Arm64 platforms (M1 and M2 chips).

If you would like to update your PDFgui (including PDFfit2) to the latest version, please follow the instructions to install it here:

As always, we appreciate your feedback, feature requests, and reports of bugs, either here or as an issue at the GitHub issues page for the project (whichever you are more comfortable using).

Thanks for using the software and your support, the dev team really appreciates it.

Dear Simon and team

My best regards

The new version installation was straightforward under Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.

Thanks,
