[pdfgui bug] Cannot launch PDFgui Arch Linux

PDFgui does not launch after installation. I'm pretty sure I have all dependencies installed and updated. 

Please see the attached screenshots. 

These are the packages in my conda environment.

I have tried using an older version of wxPython2.8 using 

wxversion.select('2.8') as well as wxPython3.0. 

If I could get some insight into this problem that would be great.

Thank you for your quick response. 

I've actually already tried that solution. The screenshots I have posted are after I have installed harfbuzz when I try to launch pdfgui. 

Just to be extra clear, I don't have a problem with installation but instead with running the application.
