Rightnow I am only able to assign this role in Product access not a specific project. As soon as I create a user, it assigns it either a service desk role or Jira Software role. So I created a new role called Browse only, removed Jira software and service desk roles.

Do I understand correctly, that you created a role, then granted the browse issues permission to this role, included your user in this role only in one of the projects and now your user can see all projects? Which other groups, roles or users are granted the Browse issues permission in this project?

Have a look at the coq items -> Applications -> Application Access. You will see default groups, which grant Service Desk or Software features to users. I guess these groups are included in the project permission schemes for each project. Make another group, add it to the Application access. Then make a new permission scheme. Remove old groups from there and add the new one. Attach this permission scheme to the required project and add your user only to the new added group.

To appear in the search results, an item must match all your criteria. For example, if one criterion specifies searching for items whose name begins with S and you add a criterion to search for items created today, the search results include only items created today whose names begin with S.

If you're running Outlook LTSC 2021, Outlook 2019, Outlook 2016, or Outlook for Microsoft 365, this account might be your primary mailbox or another mailbox to which you have delegate access or another permission. This might be an additional, shared, or automapped mailbox, or public folders.

In this scenario, the email folders for these mailboxes may show item counts that are lower than expected. Additionally, older items may seem to be missing, and you might receive the following message and hyperlink at the bottom of the list of items:

If you click the More link, additional items that meet your search criteria are displayed in the search results. This occurs because Outlook retrieves the additional items from your mailbox on the server that's running Exchange Server.

This behavior occurs because the Cached Exchange mode Mail to keep offline setting is configured to a value other than All. For example, the following screenshot shows a profile that's configured to use Cached Exchange Mode and the Mail to keep offline setting is set to a default value of 12 months.

If your Mail to keep offline setting is set to 12 months and you have email items in your Exchange mailbox that are older than 12 months, those items reside only in your mailbox on the server. Therefore, if you can't connect to the Exchange server, you may be unable to retrieve items outside the range that's specified by the Cached Exchange Mode synchronization setting until you reconnect with the server.

To reduce the effect of the Outlook offline data file (.ost), the default number of months that are configured for your profile varies by the size of your hard disk. The following table provides the different default values for different hard disk sizes.

The cached mode Mail to keep offline setting is maintained in the Outlook profile settings in the Windows registry. If you want to administer this setting by using Group Policy, you can use the Group Policy templates. These are available from the following Microsoft websites, depending on your version of Office:

The Group Policy template files for Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019, Outlook LTSC 2021, and Outlook for Microsoft 365 are Outlook16.admx and Outllk16.adml. The files for Outlook 2013 are Outlk15.admx and Outlk15.adml. If you use Group Policy to manage this setting, the following registry data is used by Outlook:

The Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019, Outlook LTSC 2021, or Outlook for Microsoft 365 user interface (UI) lets you set the Mail to keep offline setting to the additional values of three days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 years, and 5 years. The May 3, 2016, update for Outlook 2016 allows you to set these additional values by using the SyncWindowSettingDays registry data. For more information about how to configure Outlook 2016 with these additional values, see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Administrators who change the existing GPO values should be aware of the potential to impact network traffic when raising the value of the SyncWindowSetting. When GPO changes SyncWindowSetting to any higher value, Outlook will do a full OST resynchronization when the new value applies. For a single client, this is not problematic. Applying a higher value to hundreds or more clients at the same time could adversely affect available network bandwidth. Decreasing the value will have no such impact because Outlook will do a local-only deletion of excess data that's cached in the OST files of all clients to receive the lower SyncWindowSetting value.

Since Outlook only synchronizes a maximum of one year for groups, you are unable to search for older messages. To work around this Outlook limitation, use Outlook on the Web to view and search for older messages in groups.

By default, Search-Mailbox is available only in the Mailbox Search or Mailbox Import Export roles, and these roles aren't assigned to any role groups. To use this cmdlet, you need to add one or both of the roles to a role group (for example, the Organization Management role group). Only the Mailbox Import Export role gives you access to the DeleteContent parameter. For more information about adding roles to role groups, see Add a role to a role group.

This example searches April Stewart's mailbox for messages that contain the phrase "Your bank statement" in the subject and logs the result in the SearchAndDeleteLog folder in the administrator's mailbox. Messages aren't copied to the target mailbox.

This example searches April Stewart's mailbox for messages that contain the phrase "Your bank statement" in the subject and deletes the messages from the source mailbox. You have to be assigned the Mailbox Import Export management role to use the DeleteContent switch.

This example searches all mailboxes in your organization for messages that contain the words "election", "candidate", or "vote". The search results are copied to the Discovery Search Mailbox in the folder AllMailboxes-Election.

Note: You need to be assigned the Mailbox Import Export management role to use this switch. By default, this role isn't assigned to any role group (including Organization Management). Typically, you assign a role to a built-in or custom role group.

When you use this switch with the TargetMailbox parameter, messages are copied to the target mailbox and removed from the source mailbox. If you set the logging level for the search to Basic or Full, you must specify a target mailbox and a target folder to place the log in. To delete messages from the source mailbox without copying them to the target mailbox, don't specify the TargetMailbox, TargetFolder, and LogLevel parameters.

The DomainController parameter specifies the domain controller that's used by this cmdlet to read data from or write data to Active Directory. You identify the domain controller by its fully qualified domain name (FQDN). For example, dc01.contoso.com.

When you included this parameter, an email message is created and sent to the mailbox specified by the TargetMailbox parameter. The log file (which is a CSV-formatted file named Search Results.csv) is attached to this email message, and will be located in the folder specified by the TargetFolder parameter. The log file contains a row for each message that's included in the search results when you run the Search-Mailbox cmdlet.

The SearchDumpster switch specifies whether to include the Recoverable Items folder in the search. The Recoverable items folder stores items that were deleted from the Deleted Items folder or items that were hard-deleted until they're purged from the mailbox database.

The SearchQuery parameter specifies a search string or a query formatted using Keyword Query Language (KQL). For more information about KQL in Exchange, see Message properties and search operators for In-Place eDiscovery.

The WhatIf switch simulates the actions of the command. You can use this switch to view the changes that would occur without actually applying those changes. You don't need to specify a value with this switch.

Returns a collection of search results that match the query parameters specified in the API request. By default, a search result set identifies matching video, channel, and playlist resources, but you can also configure queries to only retrieve a specific type of resource.
