If so my douchie friend from across the pond, you are a shill and you drive to my mothers house every 2 days a reset her unit so she can watch movies. I bought it for her because it was supposed to be simple and I relied on the WD name.

However, yesterday afternoon while I was at work my wife called and told me that the Instant Queue was no longer available. I told her to use the Wii instead and it worked fine. I performed the reset procedure I found here and got it working again.

im having this issue as well now. i wanted to know if everyone here has blu-ray added to their netflix accounts? i just added blu-ray and now im having this issue. looking forward to the firmware update. i have no other complaints except the long startup times when the wdtv starts up. its much longer than the normal wdtv live.

another thing for those of you who are havng probelms reaching the deactivate option within wdtv. make sure you start pushing the arrow sequence once the netflix window opens up and starts to load up the queue. u should see the circular progress indicator when you push the buttons. if it reaches the queue error screen you were too slow.

When I power on my PPM without a network connection, the date is set to 2006. This means that trying to play downloaded movies in Netflix gives an error. If I then connect to a network, the time is set correctly and the movies can be played.

I think maybe the Netflix app always tries to check some DRM related stuff to be able to play a file, and yes, it could be as simple as a date/time check online. But having a solution for the timekeeping would indeed be great.

Guys, there is no clock in our projector so there is no way to keep the time after reboot. We tried to implement something different with our engineer but failed.
The only way is to make the put the time in manual mode after reset

Prior to the launch of the Netflix Basic with Ads plan, the company revealed between 5% to 10% of its TV shows and movies would be unavailable due to licensing restrictions. As it turns out, some of the most popular shows and movies on the streamer are locked out from the cheaper subscription tier.

Another restriction of the ad-supported plan is subscribers will be unable to download titles to watch offline. Otherwise, it shares some similarities with the $9.99 Basic plan: users can stream from one device at a time and the video quality is up to 720p HD.

I have a problem not seeing 4K content through xFinity. I know my HDMI & TV are 4K and the TV's HDMI port is 4K. I know this because I can use the Prime, YoTube, or Netflix apps through the XG1v4 and can view 4K content. THe picture is clear as day. When I search 4K content through xFinity I do not get any. After reading several post I searched the movie Operation Finale. It should show 4K UHD options. It does not.

Say 4K into your remote and it will bring up movies and events in 4K, It s limited. Just checked and Operation Finale is regular HD. Regular programing is not in 4K. Some Movies on Netflix, Prime and Hulu ect. are but not all. That is why you are not seeing the UHD on HD programming.

When I use the 4K search through the remote it shows TV shows like Blacklist. When I go to that show it only shows HD. From what I am reading if my Display Settings show 4K UHD Undetected under TV it will not show me any 4K play options.

@ComcastBrie please read my original post at the top. I am not receiving any 4K content unless I use the Prime, Netflix, or You Tube apps through the set top box. All other 4K content does not show up through the set top box.

Just say 4K, not with the name of a show. I said "4K Blacklist like I think you may have done and it took me the NBC Blacklist as it is not in 4K like other network programming. @ComcastBrie Posted some good links.

CCAndrew not starting a new thread. Under display settings under TV it shows 4K UHD Undetected. No one from Comcast knows how to fix it. If you look at my first post it is not my TV or the HDMI cable I am using. The problem I am having since 4K UHD undetected it does not show me 4K content. When watching xFinity it looks better on my TV if I switch resolution to 1080p. If I swith it to best available (4K 60 hrz) it looks worse unless I use the Prime, Netflix, or You Tube apps. I believe the picture could be better but the set top box is not detecting a 4k TV.

What are you expecting to see in UHD? Most programming as said is not. Just because your TV is 4K doesn't mean most content is. It may be in a year or so when it catches up to 4K just like it took a while for networks to go from SD to HD even though HD TV's were out.

dcfox you are missing the point. Under my Display settings it is showing Under TV it clearly shows 4K UHD Undetected. Because of that it does not show the Live 4K sporting events xFinity shows. Also if I am watching a show or live event and it is available in 4K it will pop up that the program is available in 4K. It does not do that. If you have a solution I'm happy to hear it.

@rhazelrig79 There are a lot of College Basketball games listed just today and this evening when you say 4K into the voice remote. Probably more tomorrow to determine what you see as @CCAndrew suggest even if not a fan just watch for a little to see.

I recently got a neo Qled QN90B samsung tv... The geeks here at StreamLocator tracked down a couple of clever websites that use APIs to scour the multitude of international Netflix catalogs. These sites are invaluable sources to provide some fascinating, and often surprising, content comparisons.

For example, if a provider wants to keep a show or movie exclusive to its own channels in their country, they might put such a high price tag on the rights to another provider that it becomes unaffordable.

What mFlix does, and this is great for viewers desperate to watch the unavailable programs, is to provide a list of the Netflix countries where you can watch the missing shows and movies.

Hi guys. The Microsoft Edge is my favorite browser of all times, really, but not when I try to watch netflix or other video streaming services, it always breaks, I have no ideia what to do anymore. Always when I try to play something there's an error and then I need to reload over and over again, sometimes even when I just play the video it stop working when I try to play again. Help me to keep using this best browser that I've ever seen.

I've ever tried to disable hardware acceleration, enable DRM content, install Microsoft Silverlight and a lot of other things, but I didn't get to watch so far without an error I keep receiving these error codes: D7356-7701 and others related. Is there's still something that can be done to really fix theses erros or I just have to be patient and wait for news versions of the browser?

Are you tired of missing out on your favorite Netflix shows and movies when traveling abroad? It can be frustrating to discover that the content you love is restricted based on your current location. The good news is that you can change your Netflix region and regain access to a wider variety of content, no matter where you are in the world.

Yes, this method will allow you to watch Netflix anywhere abroad and is popular with people who travel frequently. For example, Americans visiting the UK will be able to securely stream American Netflix, and British travelers in the US can watch Netflix UK.

Many providers are committed to providing a workaround and maintaining servers that offer reliable VPN access to various Netflix libraries. Even so, not all of these providers offer a comparable service. For streaming, you need to ensure your VPN is fast and reliable. QUICK AND CAPABLE:IPVanish makes it as easy as possible to stream your favorite Netflix shows while traveling. Boasts blazing-fast speeds, a strong security toolkit, and a 30-day money-back guarantee on annual and two-year plans.

Besides Netflix, ExpressVPN can grant you secure access to many other streaming services, including Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and HBO Max. All servers are optimized for speed, and this, coupled with a reliable service, means you can stream shows and movies seamlessly.

easy-to-use apps:CyberGhost is the beginners' favorite choice that works well with Netflix and other popular streaming services. Stores no logs and streams HD video reliably. 45-day money-back guarantee.

FAST SPEEDS:PrivateVPN works with US Netflix and many other country versions. Allows up to 6 devices on the same account. Small network of servers but fast and capable connections. 30-day money-back guarantee.

PureVPN is an excellent VPN choice for home internet users primarily preoccupied with accessing streaming services. In our recent tests, it performed flawlessly to access a wide choice of international streaming services in the US, the UK, Europe, and elsewhere. In terms of Netflix, we were able to access the large US catalog and regional catalogs in Canada, the UK, Japan, and Germany.
