* Election Commission of India is enrolling new voters (Form 6) and issuing Photo ID's to exisiting voters (Form 8) (Monday-Friday 10 am to 3 pm) at:

- Jain Society BMC school, Sion (for Sion-Koliwada residents) 24034158.
- Sahakar Nagar BMC school, Behind Talwalkar gym, Wadala (for Matunga-Dadar-Wadala residents) 24145397

* Civic works update:

- Several gaps in the boundary wall on both sides of the railway tracks closed between CST and Thane. This would save atleast a few hundred deaths due to trespassing. Thanks to Sr DEN (LM) Mr RK Pandey of CR, only 3 major gaps remain in this section. Also, tenders to close by 30/7/13 for 4 FOB's sanctioned between Chembur and Mankhurd.

- Amulakh school signal timings extended, so that children can cross the road easily. Thanks to Sr PI Sujata Patil of Matunga Traffic police.

- Beautification work started outside Vithal Mandir, Sion circle. Thanks to Mr Srivastav or MEP (Mumbai Entry Point) and MSRDC.

- Contaminated water problem solved near Nappoo garden, Matunga, due to persistent follow up at BMC by Kunal Shah.
