Civic works update:
- Several gaps in the boundary wall on both sides of
the railway tracks closed between CST and Thane. This would save atleast a few
hundred deaths due to trespassing. Thanks to Sr DEN (LM) Mr RK Pandey of CR,
only 3 major gaps remain in this section. Also, tenders to close by 30/7/13 for
4 FOB's sanctioned between Chembur and Mankhurd.
- Amulakh school signal
timings extended, so that children can cross the road easily. Thanks to Sr PI
Sujata Patil of Matunga Traffic police.
- Beautification work started outside Vithal Mandir, Sion circle.
Thanks to Mr Srivastav or MEP (Mumbai Entry Point) and MSRDC.
-
Contaminated water problem solved near Nappoo garden, Matunga, due to persistent
follow up at BMC by Kunal
Shah.
