Dear Die Hard Indian,

* We are not against cell phones or cell towers, but there must be implementation of cell tower radiation norms:

- We have been actively following up with various MP-MLA's

- Regular correspondences with government agencies since March 2012

- Meeting with Department of Telecom officials on 4 June 2013 at MTNL office, Prabhadevi

- Awareness seminars on 28 April 2013 and 4 August 2013

- Signatures submitted to CM of Maharashtra and BMC Commissioner in June 2013. Another set of memorandum in Aug 2013.

- Draft BMC guidelines for cell towers:

- Department of Telecom has issued guidelines, to be effective 1 Aug 2013. Here are the relevant guidelines for cell towers:

* But there is certainly no reason to be fearful or stressed about radiation. We can follow some simple do's and don'ts for a healthy living:

* A major court order passed by Bombay High Court on 2 August 2013, says if medical Insurance cashless cannot be re-started by PSU Insurance companies, then they have to pre-declare package rates in the policy documents:
