* Election Commission has deleted tens of thousands of names from the voting list. If you have moved your residence in recent times, there is a very high chance that your name has been deleted from the voting list. Please take a moment to check the online voting list at:
Election Commission of India has extended the date for enrolling new voters (Form 6) and issuing Photo ID's or change of address of exisiting voters (Form 8) (Monday-Friday 10 am to 3 pm) at various centres, but best bet is to visit the main office at:
- Jain Society BMC school, Sion (for Sion-Koliwada residents) 24034158.
- Sahakar Nagar BMC school, Behind Talwalkar gym, Wadala (for Matunga-Dadar-Wadala residents) 24145397
Please follow these instructions very carefully to ensure successful addition of new voters to the list:

* After a lot of follow up, we as a group of NGO's were able to get BMC to draft excellent regulations for cell tower installations. But unfortunately Maharashtra state has issued a draft guidelines which seem to be over-ruling BMC regulations.

* Civic Work done:
- Removed gutter choke-up at 2 places outside Motibaug building (caused due to new road re-surfacing i.e. Road 22, opp Shanmukhananda hall) through Dy Chief Engineer's office.
- Sion subway clean-up through BMC.
- Muck cleanup outside Sion Haveli through BMC.
