All You Need is THIS

What is there before thought?
Not as a philosophical question.
Not as something to figure out.
Just a simple curiosity.
Yesterday, as everything settled, I noticed something unexpected.
What was present wasn’t an answer.
It wasn’t an insight.
It wasn’t a realization about consciousness, awareness, or the nature of reality.
What was there was Peace.
Not the peace that comes from solving a problem.
Not the peace that comes from getting what you want.
Not the peace that comes from certainty.
Just Peace.
It seemed to be there before the next thought arrived.
Before the mind began naming, comparing, explaining, or searching.
Thoughts appeared and disappeared.
Sensations appeared and disappeared.
Sounds appeared and disappeared.
Yet the Peace remained untouched.
It made me wonder whether so much of what we seek is already present before thought has a chance to tell us what is missing.
And then another realization quietly appeared.
The Peace wasn’t pointing to something else.
It wasn’t a doorway to an answer.
It wasn’t a sign that the mystery had been solved.
The Peace itself was enough.
The totality is still a mystery…
yet what is here is Peace.
And somehow, that is enough.
