Paul,
This resonated deeply with me.
Lately I’ve been wondering whether the issue is not thought itself, but the way thought fragments living when it is unconsciously taken as reality.
Thought seems to have a practical and beautiful place in life. A memory of someone you love while standing on a mountain can deepen the moment rather than obscure it. Yet thought can also create psychological separation, time, fear, and resistance when identification hardens around it.
What struck me in the video was the sense that reality may be an undivided movement, while thought naturally slices and labels experience into parts. Useful practically, perhaps, but easy to mistake for how things actually are.
More and more, I notice thoughts still arising, but with less impulse to fully believe or follow them. They appear more as movements within awareness rather than commands from a separate self.
And even that understanding can become another identity or position to cling to if one isn’t aware of it.
Not a rejection of thought — just less captivity to it.
Thanks for sharing this. It connected with something I’ve been quietly exploring myself.
Jeff

Everyone,Diehards, Rene sent me this video. I’m urging as many people as possible to hopefully listen to it. I think it's really important and it reminds me of why Thich Nhat Hanh says, come home, come back into your body. Again, I hope people find a time to listen to this.Love to everyone,
Paul
