Don’t Miss Life Searching for Life

Life is constantly morphing and shape shifting. There is nothing to grasp. No fixed thing to hold onto. Everything changes. Body changes. Thought changes. Emotion changes. Identity changes. Life unfolds and rearranges itself endlessly.

And yet somehow, here we are.

I said once, “I know I am alive. I can feel the energy.”

Someone asked:

“Are you sure?”

“How do you know?”

I answered:

“I can feel it.”

Again:

“Are you sure?”

And something opened.

If life keeps changing… if nothing fully manifests as a fixed thing… if everything appears and disappears, morphs and unfolds…

What exactly is it that knows?

Can we know?

Or do we mostly know ideas about knowing?

Knowing.

Knowing.

Knowing.

Not philosophy.

Not memory.

Not something to believe.

Something more immediate.

Knowing aliveness.

Knowing beingness.

Knowing we are that.

Not as certainty.

Not as grasping.

Not as conclusion.

More intimate than that.

Breath happening.

Birdsong.

Warmth on your face.

The ache of loss.

Joy unexpectedly arriving.

Thoughts appearing and disappearing.

Life living.

Direct seeing happens when we do not want to miss any of it.

Not because we are trying to awaken.

Not because we are seeking a spiritual experience.

But because Life itself becomes enough.

Pay attention.

Not only to thought.

Not only to philosophy.

Pay attention to Life.

Life constantly morphing and shape shifting.

Nothing fixed.

Nothing to hold.

Yet somehow never empty.

Always full.

Never missing anything.

Nourishing itself.

If you want to directly see, do not turn away from Life searching for something beyond it.

Pay attention.

You are not separate from it.

You are not standing outside observing Life.

You are Life.

Life knowing Life.

Perhaps we spend years searching for what has never been absent.

Trying to grasp what cannot be grasped.

Trying to know what can only be lived.

Don’t miss Life searching for Life.

THIS.

Just this.

I like this ! You are a poet! 

2 days ago I was standing in front of a tree in my backyard just admiring how it gives a bountiful harvest without thinking it’s giving! A tremendous sense of love just flowed from the tree and me and there was no separation! 

Life IS beautiful to be experienced with various spices some are 🥵 hot some are tempered some flavorful and some sweet or bitter. Life is this whole enchilada or as Jim puts it Burrito! 

Life IS expressing itself in myriad ways, exploring all possibilities and when we are ‘open’ fully present to the moment it’s love peace and joy! 

My 2 cents
