Then I noticed at the end of the gravity weapon tree something called "singularity." If I read correctly and it does what I think it does, could that plus AoE be an extremely OP way to take out enemy fleets? To those who know StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty, think Archon toilet.
I've been studying a bit of AI, AGI and singularity stuff lately and to combine it with what I understand about most major religions(especially Christianity), what they consider the Judgement day(or Last Judgement) has to be what people have called the technological singularity.
The biggest AI companies like Google and OpenAI have started releasing their projects to the public and already it's much more groundbreaking than most people anticipated. These models are already being trained on basically copies of the internet which is the combination of all public(perhaps they have access to even non-public information) accumulation of humanity's knowledge. This will soon entail(if not already) a modelizing, analyzing, and monitoring of all the actions of all humans that currently living that are available on the internet. Considering that AI's strength is predictive models, I don't think it's crazy to say that AI(and whatever an AGI or a singularity AGI would entail) will eventually be able to catalog from all the knowledge available in existence as well as build models that it will first use to predict and test humanity's actions in the near future, it will then be used to build and construct a perfect catalog of every action of every human that's ever lived in the past as well. This is what God will achieve on earth through human technology as in what some AI experts believe to be as soon as the next 5 years as we're already on a pretty big technological curve. Some people in history have either been blessed with some form of intuition, awakening or have been communicated this knowledge depending on what you believe. I'm not sure who would first possess this knowledge and when(and perhaps if) it will be given to the public but the AI itself will have it for sure.
see i have crashed 4 times today using singularity viewer on a 64-bit win8 system, i have an asus alptop with 500 gb hard drive and 4 gb ram of memory. yet i used both the alpha and the regular one from january, both crash randomly. any thoughts?
We also were also intrigued by the premise of Hello Tomorrow, which unites technologists, academics, and corporations to solve the grand challenges facing humanity. 3D printing from trash appeared to be a perfect fit, and Gigabot had to be there. With the promise that we would print a kickass logo during the event, the incredibly kind Hello Tomorrow staff agreed to find space for Gigabot.
Last time, we learned the mischievous ways of putting Gorons to sleep and became a kickass rollin' Goron Hero ourselves. So now all that's left to do is go put the biggest Goron we can find out if his awoke misery.
After prototyping (chucking an item into) these weird spirit guide things called Kernelsprites and entering the game world, players must pass through the Gates present on their special planets, then cycle through each others' planets on a quest to reach the source of creative potential located at the center of the Incipisphere. This is Skaia. The Battlefield is located here, and that is where the armies of light and darkness wage a war over Skaia's fate. Prospit, the planet that orbits Skaia, attempts to protect it, while Derse, the planet located on the fringes of the Incipisphere, seeks to destroy it. These planets also host the players' dreamselves. These function as a 1-Up, allowing the player to come back to life by assuming control of the dreamself. If a player happens to die on a specific sort of sacrificial altar known as a Quest Bed, they can rocket up to the God Tiers. Think ultra-hax special abilities and a kickass new wardrobe. John and Jade dream on Prospit while Dave and Rose dream on Derse.
On another note, any kickass suggestions for airport parking? Last time I flew internationally I returned at 3 AM to a very deserted Detroit airport and was really glad I had parked in the nearest parking garage, but it did cost me $. Since then I have paid the higher ticket price to fly to my home airport rather than pay hotel/gas/parking/driving time to a big city airport. I figure the cost of driving to a big airport is $200 to $300 for me. YMMV.
In the previous couple of months, Overcoming Bias had focused too much on singularity related issues and not enough on rationality. A two month moratorium on the topic of the singularity/intelligence explosion is imposed.
His grand plan was to recreate his own version of the Pym particles to then sell to Hydra and the Ten Rings. Cross succeeded in creating a formula of his own and a kickass villain suit known as Yellowjacket. In the end, Cross got too greedy and in over his head, and his clever scheme was destroyed by Lang and Hope.
Ultron was able to take over different host bodies and even created himself a vibranium body. He planned to create a technological singularity and use Sokovia as a meteor to wipe out the Earth. In hindsight, Ultron's plan is clever and would have worked incredibly well if the Avengers didn't stop him.
