Using Didsoft 1.7.2 we regularly receive an error from a third party who decrypts our fles with "cannot read end of file". When we drop in a backup public key the process works fine the next day, but wthin a week or so the same message on the third party side reappears. We think this points to some problem in the  encryption of the data on our end.

Has anyone else come across this problem? Would it help upgrading to 1.7.4?

Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,

Have you tried to decrypt at your end a problematic file that fails at the third party.

There is small chance that the file gets corrupted during the transfer.

Kind Regards,

Hi Tom,

Actually I will recommend you to upgrade to version 1.7.4.

There was a critical bug fixed there that addressed encrypting a file with the same name.
(Probably the files that you send happen to have sometimes the same name and overwrite existing files).

Please let me know if the above is true.

Cheers,
Nasko
