End of Year Party

With only 1 more meeting this Thursday left in the 2012/13 toastmasters year we are having an END OF YEAR PARTY this Thursday at the Hard Rock Café from 7.30 pm.

 

It’s been an amazing year for this club in so many ways and I can say with great pride that we are now truly one of the strongest Toastmasters Clubs in the UAE and the Gulf if not the whole world (DG Kiruba doesn’t like us saying we’re the best and I would not for one minute may this claim as there are plenty of other great clubs within the City of Dubai alone and I recommend you visit them as you grow through your Toastmasters journey).

 

As you know I will however make the claim that we believe we are THE MOST DIVERSIFIED CLUB IN THE WORLD with 26 different nationalities within our 55 members… we have to shout about this as much as possible as it’s our USP!

 

Anyway back to the party. It is 100% a social event with no formal agenda. Please bring your partners and lets have a huge celebration of the great year we had and have some fun. As I mentioned at the last meeting it’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other outside of the standard format of our meetings and this in turn can only strengthen relationships and DIC!

 

The plan is that all food and soft drinks will be covered out of Club funds and I am inviting the outgoing and incoming Divisional Governors as well.

 

Your Excom are meeting tomorrow evening to plan the event and I will send out further information after that.

 

In the meantime can you please rsvp asap so I get an idea of numbers so we can plan with Hard Rock Café, Festival City!

Can I please ask for all members to pls reply advising if youre coming to the end of year party and whether you're bringing your partner.

I can only confirm you're receiving these emails by your confirmation.

The excom met today and we agreed to start the party from 7pm on Thursday at the Hard Rock Cafe restaurant in Festival City. We have a fun night in store including a very brief Speech slot for Irene to complete her Acs speech and ensure DIC achieve all 10 DCP points for the first time ever and to give out some prizes for the years achievements.

It promises to be a great night where food and soft drink is free so pls rsvp now.
