Hi all,

I would like to confirm my understanding of how the response to a series level bulkdata (defined in Table 10.4.1.5-1. Retrieve Transaction Bulkdata Resources) request should be composed.

When looking at the instance level bulkdata first, my interpretation is as follows:

  • /instance/metadata returns the array of attributes for the instance, some of the attribute’s values are replaced by bulkdata URIs.
  • /instance/bulkdata returns a multipart response containing all the bulkdata attributes in the same order as they appear in the /instance/metadata response. All parts in the multipart response have a “Content-Location” header corresponding to the bulkdataUri found in the metadata for the given attribute.

For the series level bulkdata response I assume that I would similarly return a multipart response containing all the bulkdata attributes of all the instances in the order they appear in the series level metadata response?

I'm also curious about if a behavior analog to /instance/{instance_uid}/instance/bulkdata/{attribute}, which returns a multipart response with only the value of the requested attribute should be supported at the series level?

Thanks.

JP Leger.
