Call for Proposals for biomedical waveform coding (for potential new DICOM Transfer Syntax) esp. for EEGs

In preparation for developing a DICOM waveform compression encoding mechanism (i.e., for WaveformData instead of PixelData), there is an effort to develop a standardized compression codec for EEGs and other biomedical waveforms being conducted by ITU.

See the "Announcement of a Call for Proposals for biomedical waveform coding" [1].Unfortunately this paper is not open access and nor is its supplementary data that contains the actual ITU CFP, so you may need to nag one of the authors to get a copy if you don't have access.
