Dear JPEG-XL gurus,
I am reading § 3.5 - 8.2.15 JPEG XL Image Compression (*), and I am suprised to see there is no note about the JPEG-XL header (the container) vs the JPEG-XL codestream.
Could someone with more knowledge than me confirms:
1. JPEG-XL header (
ISO/IEC 18181-2) *must* be stripped before insertion in DICOM P10,
2. JPEG-XL naked codestream (
ISO/IEC 18181-1 ) must be /extra/-naked so as to remove both the color information and/or the orientation since they may conflict (redundant) with the actual DICOM header.
Thank you
