Hi,

dicom edit seems to have a "Shift date by increment" function, but I don't seem to be able to figure out how to use it in a dicom edit script. Could anyone give me an example how to use the function?

Best wishes,
Jan

DicomBrowser is built with an older version of DicomEdit (v3.0.2) which provides the edit scripting capability.  The shift-date function was added to a more recent version.  In the short term, we need to investigate updating DicomBrowser to build with the newer versions of DicomEdit.  Some major modifications to DicomBrowser are needed in order for its UI to fully catch up to handling sequences.

It is important to hear that there is interest in DicomBrowser so we can prioritize limited resources.

Thanks David,

I and some of my colleagues in the department definetely have been using DicomBrowser, especially for anonymisation as we are not happy with the vendour-anonymisation process. Having a shift-date function would be great because we are aquiring multiple scans and the time difference must stay the same, so we cannot apply a custom date like 01-01-2000 to all scans.
