Hi,

I have downloaded your DiacomBrowser onto my computer running Windows 7 Professional.

I am having an issue with the “add new attribute” function – the new attribute doesn’t appear in the table on the right hand side.

My colleague has it working on her computer, but it doesn’t work on mine, even after trying to reload the software.

 Any suggestions?

 Many thanks,

 Katie Healey

Hi Katie,

Yes, I have spotted the same problem. Strangely, this does not seem to occur on all platforms, but I haven't done extensive enough testing on different machines to isolate the problem. The way that I managed to solve it was to run version 1.5.2 instead of the latest version.

Kevin, sorry not to be able to give you any more details, but I can confirm that this is a problem. It also prevents scripts running properly when they add new DICOM tags, but I haven't found a good way of getting error messages out of DicomBrowser to try and diagnose the issue.

  Best wishes,

Simon

Fantastic! Thanks Simon, works perfectly now with the older version.

Many thanks for your speedy solution.

Katie

Simon,

Thanks for the suggestion and the report. I’m probably not going to look into it right now because (1) crushing deadline imminent and (2) I know the XNAT team is working on a substantial rewrite of DicomEdit that will probably force some DicomBrowser changes. So I’m not much inclined to get deep into any changes until that work is done.

Thanks,
Kevin
