Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the current version of DicomBrowser that don’t appear in version 1.5

I have an anonymization script to apply that includes assigning the value of tag (0008,0080). The issue is that the DICOMs we are working with do not contain that tag and DicomBrowser is not adding the tag when applying the script.

For version 1.5.2, when we apply the anonymization script DicomBrowser adds this tag no problem.

Is this a feature that has been removed?

Sincerely,

Michael

Hi Michael,

It’s not a feature that was intentionally removed but is a bug that crept in somehow. Unfortunately we don’t have a developer dedicated to maintaining DicomBrowser at the moment, so I can’t give you a firm timeframe for a fix on this but will try to have a look at it. There was actually a fix for almost exactly the same issue but for adding new attributes through the UI so it may be just a matter of missing wiring.
