If you are a fan of the GTA San Andreas on Android or iOS, you must be familiar with the system of cheats. GTA openly allows certain cheats to be used in the main story and we are here to tell you how to use them on your mobile phone.
Whether you wish to escape from cops or refill your ammo, this list of GTA San Andreas cheats for Android can be a complete game changer. Furthermore, you can use them in both GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition and the classic version of the game.
GTA San Andreas is one of the few games that needs no introduction, as many have grown up playing it in their childhood. Most of us have spent more time on Grove Street doing missions with Big Smoke, Sweet, and Ryder than with our actual friends.
From the yellow-tinted skies of Los Santos to the forbidden military base, GTA San Andreas is a playground for many new adventures. Despite being launched in 2004, the game remains an all-time favourite due to its massive open world, memorable characters and unique storyline.
In 2013, Rockstar decided to port the game to Android and iOS devices. This port brought many memories and offered a new avenue for players to cherish their favourite game once again. It is available on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The game was even more interesting because players could use GTA San Andreas on Android through an in-built cheat recognition system. It is one of the few games that allows players to enter cheat codes on mobile devices.
To fix this issue, Rockstar introduced a new Definitive Edition of GTA San Andreas with updated graphics and gameplay elements. This Definitive Edition is available for free for all Netflix players with their subscription, while others can purchase it for Rs.1,099.
Furthermore, it offers an easier way to enter GTA San Andreas Mobile cheats. The earlier version required players to connect a physical keyboard to their device to input cheats. A dedicated option for entering GTA San Andreas Cheats for Android is now available.
If you ask me, I would prefer the GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition for Android as it offers better graphics, improved controls, and an easier way to enter cheats. Furthermore, it is also free to play for Netflix users, unlike the original GTA San Andreas for Android, which still costs Rs.182 on the Google Play Store. So you just need to subscribe to Netflix, which is a much better deal since you can stream thousands of TV shows and play other exciting Netflix Games.
Rockstar has released a Definitive Edition of GTA San Andreas for Android, featuring a major visual overhaul and a simpler way to enter cheats. The GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition is free to Netflix users and can be purchased separately for Rs.1,099.
Furthermore, this Definitive Edition of GTA San Andreas also offers an easier way for players to input cheat codes. Just head over to the Accessibility Menu and press the Enter Cheat Codes option to input your favourite cheats in GTA San Andreas for Android.
You can find the complete list of all available cheat codes in the list below. Unlike the classic GTA San Andreas on mobile phones, you no longer need a physical keyboard or a special menu to enter cheat codes in the Definitive Edition.
One thing that bothered mobile phone players was that they could no longer use the cheat system. On the PC version, you can just input words on the keyboard and press enter to activate the cheat. So, how do you use the GTA San Andreas mobile cheats for Android in the classic edition? Do not worry; the answer is here.
Before you use these amazing GTA San Andreas cheat codes for Android, make sure that you know that they will disable your achievements within the game. So, to proceed with clean gameplay of your achievements, make sure to create a new save.
Other than that, you can also face an issue where the screen begins to spin; a quick fix is using the pinch and zoom gesture to stop it. Other than that, here are a few things that you can keep in mind while using GTA San Andreas cheat codes for Android:

Ever since its PS1 debut, the Grand Theft Auto series has been associated with cheat codes. Just about every game in the series has featured them in some capacity, with players typically able to completely transform the games' worlds with the push of a few buttons. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas took this idea to a whole new level, with more cheat codes than any of the other games in the long-running franchise.
Just as many had been speculating, almost all of the original game's cheat codes work in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Definitive Edition, allowing players to once again flip the script on Rockstar's digital world. They can be used to make the game much easier for those who are having trouble with some of its more difficult missions, though most will likely only use them to cause a little extra carnage and chaos.
Updated April 11, 2023, by Tom Bowen: The console and PC ports of the game may not have gone down too well, but Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - Definitive Edition has proven to be a big hit among mobile gamers. Not that it really needed one, but with GTA 6 now looming large on the horizon, the franchise is experiencing a huge surge in popularity, which has led to the demand for GTA: San Andreas cheats for Android skyrocketing in recent months. To help meet this demand, this guide has been updated to include more information on mobile cheat codes as well as an explanation of how to actually use GTA: San Andreas cheats for Android.
In order to input San Andreas mobile cheat codes, players should touch the mini-map in the top left-hand corner of the screen to open up the main menu and then navigate to the Options menu. From there, they'll want to head to the Accessibility sub-menu and choose "Enter Cheat Code". Doing so will bring up their phone's on-screen keyboard, allowing them to type in and redeem any of the GTA: San Andreas mobile cheats from the table below.
GTA San Andreas cheats let you unleash chaos. With our codes you can spawn vehicles and items like the Rhino tank or the jetpack, gain invincibility, infinite ammo and weapons, manipulate weather and pedestrians, and activate different effects like big head mode and flying cars.
On consoles, enter the button combinations listed while playing to activate cheats. On PC, simply type in the corresponding cheat codes during gameplay. You can turn off any cheat by entering the code again.
Once connected, you can simply type in cheat codes during gameplay to activate them. The majority of cheats from the PC version of San Andreas will also work on mobile. However, some may not function perfectly, and entering a cheat code may cause the screen to start spinning. If this happens, just pinch and zoom to make it stop.
I was wondering why I couldn't get certain codes to work. I didn't realize some of them were blocked in the remastered versions. That kind of sucks but the main ones I enjoyed still work so it is fine. I also didn't know they added in new ones. Sweet!
Maybe I am dumb or something lol but I have tried to activate the codes like 10 times now and can't get the prompt to work. I don't know what I am doing wrong but I just can't get this to work and it is really annoying me.
Hey, can you please tell me what platform you are playing on? Also, there are two versions of the cheat codes on the site (regular and definitive editions). They are SLIGHTLY different. If you are playing the definitive edition, then ensure you are using the codes for that edition.
A lot of people mess these up. They really should have just kept everything the same but either way, it is an easy fix. I do know that some people had complained that they were putting them in correct and it still did not work but after a console update, it was fine. This was awhile ago though.
Big Head Mode always gave me a good laugh. I wanted to see more silly cheats like that in GTA 5. Considering there is going to be a lot of animal life, more so than in the last title, maybe we will get one that turns all NPCs into animals. I think there is a mod for that lol
Would love to see something like that but I would imagine that would not be possible on consoles without the game crashing. I can see a decent mod being made for it though. I am not sure if one exists to that extent for GTA 5 though. There are a lot of NPCs.
This GTA: San Andreas guide details everything you need to know about cheat codes, as well as how to activate them, a guide to the best cheats to test out, as well as a complete list of all working cheats and codes that are available and ready to use.
