Available only to customers who receive a monthly paper bill. Your printed online bill will not be accepted as it is not encoded with a payment bar at the bottom. Therefore, you will need the original bill.
but still on My account FIDO "FIDO mobile application" that the bill is not paid yet and I didn't receive a payment confirmation on my email as well, but as usual when I pay using visa credit card immediately the bill becomes $0
You should note that depending on your method of payment, it can take a number of days for payment to be received by Fido. With payments made from financial institutions, it may take approximately 5 business days for the payment to be received (see here). They cannot update your account until they've actually received the payment from the bank. As you note, payments by credit card are received immediately, which is why it shows on your app soon after you've paid with that method. If you've recently paid your bill through your bank, the payment will likely be reflected on your Fido account in a few days.
I have found you are dating my bills on the 21st of each month but then they are not available for at least 4 up to 7 days at a time. Why does it take so long to post them and is it quicker to have them mailed out? I think the bills should be dated the day they are actually available. Perhaps if the bill is late and the payment is equally late that would be okay too? Just saying... does not seem fair.
I received the bill by email which said "Your fido Bill is Ready" on Wednesday. Then, I clicked the bottom "Make A Payment" and logged into my account. There showed the CURRENT BALANCE of $0.00. When can I get my bill and make a payment? I do not want to delay to affect my credit score.
Thank you. Just one thing... my bill date is normally on the 21st, for May that was a Sunday and it is now the 26th yet I still do not see my bill :-/. If I am counting properly then that has the 2 to 5 days covered. Should it not be there today? 21 + 5 = 26?. How come the amount due at least does not get reflected in the summary on my account when I log in. If it isn't in tomorrow do I have to wait until Monday? Let me see... 21 - 29 = 8 days. My math might be off. I normally do not wait 3 weeks to pay but perhaps I should squeeze every last day out of sending my payment going forward so the money sits in my account longer. I guess your parent company "Rogers" does have enough money anyways LOL. I will be sending my complaint to CRTC since this seems to me to be bad billing practice in this day of computing. You don't print them and then have someone scanning them in to be downloaded... do you? The delay takes the average of 6 days off the time you are permitting me to pay. This bill I expect to be due the 17Jun which takes me from having 27 days down to, at current, 22 days and tomorrow it will be 21 days exactly 3 weeks. My point is if you cannot get your bills uploaded within a day of the date it is, supposedly generated then you should have the date of the bill changed to be 3 weeks prior to the billing date. This is frustrating when I am waiting for my bill to pay. Is there any way I can send you messages that my bill is late? I hear you send text messages to people when they are getting close to being late.
Look forward to your improved practices and services and appreciate the forward to the correct department... Let them know... I want to give them money for my bill... I just do not know yet how much or if it matches my usage logging.
I have to say WOW!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! LOL!! up to 7 days before your system can generate a bill to reflect on the account seem a little long. I can understand 2 or 3 days maximum but a week I do not understand. Once the account period ends, the system should calculate and gather all data so there is one day, uploading information into bill format sure there is another so it should be available after 3rd day for sure, and dated as such. I still also do not understand why you put a billing date on that is days, up to a week, earlier than it was actual is "Available". Invoices should be dated the day they are "generated" and made "available. I just checked an no bill is available yet... nor is there an amount due reflecting on my account. Does the balance have to wait for a system generation to tie to uploaded invoice or can it at least be updated until the bill is available for download? My account still shows only last months bill available with my zero balance owing on a due date of 19May. Can that not at least show the next due date, balance.. anything more current? LOL! Oh well... I cannot pay until I see a bill... so wait I will... wait I must... after all... what choice do I have
Your bill is always made available 2-5 days following the end of your billing cycle. You then have approximately 3 weeks to make a payment. Having them mailed out would take a little more time to receive since you have to take into consideration mailing delays with Canada Post.
I transferred from Rogers to Fido and the port request was completed on Nov 27 which is in the middle of the bill period Nov 16 Dec 15. For the last bill in Rogers, I assume I should be charged for the actual usage till Nov 27 rather than full month. As I have received the bill for the full bill period, can I know if I can get the final bill be updated with the actual prorated usage, then I can pay the bill based on my exact usage and no need to bother the refund in the next bill cycle? Thanks!
I surely understand how this can be a bit confusing, on the final bill you should be charged until the day your number was ported out, but as your bill was generated before the port out, you saw the full regular charge on the bill. You will be receiving a final bill with the adjusted balance and it can take up to 3 weeks for the final bill to be generated.
Can I pay the bill after the final bill is generated? Or do I need to pay the full regular charge first then apply for reimbursement? I prefer the former - paying the final bill once which is more straightforward. Thanks again!
I recently bought a new phone and got a $60 credit for the first month. At first, my next bill was $56.50, but when I went to pay it a few days later I saw the value had changed to -$3.50. When I try to pay the bill, it will not allow me because it is a negative value. So I'm wondering, do I just do nothing and not pay? Do I just wait for the next bill and pay that?
So my bank acount is frozen, My creditcards are in use. I don't want to be charged interest or additional transaction charges on top of my bill. where can I go to pay cash. Canadian issued Gouvenrment currancy? I shouldn't have to use a third party and incure addional fees to pay you. Canadian money, real dolars and coins is legal tender and must be accepted. where can I pay you for your phone services?
Hi,i'll try to make this short and clear, i usually buy in-game currency with my phone bill in google play store but these pass 2 months i been unable to buy anything in there( the translation keep saying its been declined), this is not the 1st time it happen, last year it did happen a few times but it fixed itself each time, this year too it did happen again a few times but again it fixed itself until now ( well until august- September)
One thing to keep in mind with purchases billed directly to your Fido invoice is that you can only purchase items that are $60 or less, up to a maximum of $100 per month, per number, otherwise the payment won't go through.
I want to start off saying that I'm freshly 19 and this is my first time having a cell in my name, so I'm new to bill paying. I was expecting my bill to be a bit less, but hey it' all good. My concern is that because I'm new to inline banking I'm not sure what happened. My bill came to $103 or something like that so I went and set it up so I could pay some of it today. I paid what u signed up for my bill to be ($65) and figured i would pay the rest next check. I get that all done and the $65 is taken out of my bank but when I come back here it says I still owe $103.. does anyone know if it will just take time to process or if I should give Fido a call about it? Thanks so much in advance
It can take a few days for bills to get process and flow down the pipe. If you are concerned, I would give Fido a call tomororow to see if they got your $. Make sure you keep records of your payment as proof that payments were made to your Fido account XXXXXX. Sometimes banks and tellers make mistakes too.
Hi, I have set up automatic payments through my bank account in my FIDO account. For budgeting purposes I am trying to find out what date each month my Cell Phone and Internet bills will be withdrawn from my account. I have been unable to find this information.
Hello @EatPrayLoveYoga @Learningful , my billing date was Sept.6 and the charge was put on my credit card today, the 20th, so yes you are correct, approximately 14 days after the billing cycle ended sept.6.
I had the same question. So, just to clarify: if the automatic payment is withdrawn (or charged to my credit card) "approximately" 14 days after the monthly bill is issued, that would also mean it is withdrawn/charged approximately 10 days before the payment date on the bill -- is that correct?
I ported my account with 3 lines over from Fido on Oct 5, 3 days after my fido bill cycle starts. But my fido account balance still shows the full month and not pro-rated. Does anyone know if I need to contact Fido and how long will I need to wait for the final bill?
