BackgroundFrom the beginning of the DVD format, discs were encoded with region codes, which prevent a DVD meant for playback in one region from being played on one with another region code. These screens appear if you put a disc from the wrong region into a DVD/Blu-ray player fixed to one or more region (except for region-free discs).

Screen: Same as Walt Disney/New Line/Genius Products/Alliance Atlantis' parental control screen, except the screen instead reads "This player is incompatible with the region marking of this disc."

Availability: Seen on Universal Blu-rays of material by STX Films, GKIDS, and Neon if you put the disc in the wrong regional unit. It also appears on the 2019 Lionsgate Blu-ray of The Cotton Club Encore.

Screen: On a blue gradient background similar to that of Sony's warning screen, we see a blue outlined SPHE logo on the right and a warning sign on top. Underneath it is the same text as on Universal's Blu-ray region error screen.

Screen: On a black background, a large warning sign is shown, with the same text as on Universal's region code error screen (with the first line in yellow) underneath and a Lionsgate logo in the lower-right corner.

Availability: Seen on Magnolia Home Entertainment Blu-ray releases from Four Lions onward, as discs from before then are region-free. This screen debuted on MXC: Season 3. Appears on Funimation Blu-rays if you play the disc in the wrong region machine. It also appears on Canadian International Pictures releases, such as The Ernie Game.

I receive the error message whenever I try to play any content from AppleTV+. My region is the US. And the ip address is seen as the US as well. This happens on both the new AppleTV 4k, an AppleTV HD and on my macbook Air M1, whether by ethernet or wireless. Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Disney+ all stream fine. I've been bumped up three levels on apple support and finally my case was given to an engineer who, without asking, simply closed the ticket saying I had a vpn turned on. I don't, so I called and reopened the case and haven't heard back since.

It does work if I connect to my phone as a hotspot, so it's tied somehow to the router or modem.

My service is Spectrum, my modem is a Nighthawk CM2000 and my router/wifi is an Orbi rbk50.

Any thoughts on what I can do to get AppleTV+ working properly?

whenever I try to access content on AppleTV Plus, even through this was not a problem two days ago. I read that changing the router MAC address would solve this. How is that done? Not a tech wizard here.

I'm trying to play a Zone 2 DVD and it gives me an error code. What I would like to know is which Zone DVD player my laptop has, and whether it's possible to get it that it is Zone Free or Multi-Zone ?

To change your DVD region, click start, then 'computer', then right click the picture of your DVD drive select properties, click the hardware tab and select 'DVD Region'. Then scroll down to your country and click it until it goes blue then click 'ok'. If you want to watch a Region 1 DVD select 'united states. If you want to watch a region 2 DVD, select 'united kingdom'. If you look above these options it will tell you how many region changes you have left to make.....remember the last change you make will be permanent.

hi all, I know this was posted a long time ago, but I really need help. you seem to know a lot about DVD region.could someone give me some advice? I also have a problem about my DVD region code. I bought a DVD in U.S , after I went back to Australia, I found that my DVD did not work on my player. I bought this program ( -2-dvd.html)from a giveaway which claims to remove region code. I convert mine from region code 1 to region code 4, but still not compatible with my DVD player. It just keeps reading.

I tried HandBrake but it wouldn't decode any encrypted DVDs, it requires an add-on named lib DVD CSS. any idea will be appreciated

Sorry, wrong link above. Here's one specifically for Handbrake on Windows, although note that decryption and region locking are two completely different issues, so it's possible that your DVD drive has a hardware lock that's preventing it from reading the disc. In that case, LibDVDCSS wouldn't solve anything because the drive isn't allowing the software to read the disc in the first place. But just in case, here's the link: www.winxdvd.com/.../install-handbrake-libdvdcss-to-rip-dvd.htm

I was creating propensity scores to compare a treatment (variable- 'obs,' treatment - 'case', no treatment- 'control') with several demographic variables to create the scores. I had success with the following code.

I don't understand. The variables I added are actually not significantly different between cases and controls, so I assumed the change would result in very little change. I tried eliminating the CALIPER constraint and it didn't help. Can someone shed light? Any recommendations moving forward?

This is only a guess, but since you limit the support region to the controls, it might be a situation where the measurements for at least one of your continuous variables in the treated group are wholly outside the region for the control group. I'm sorry I don't have a work-around, but you might try REGION=ALLOBS and at least see if you get the same error message.

You might try adding the four variables only to the ASSESS statement and not the PSMODEL statement. You can use the ASSESS statement to assess the balance achieved for any continuous or binary variable in the input data set, not just the variables used in the propensity score model. It might (hopefully) be the case that even if those variables are not included in the propensity score model good balance is still achieved in the matched data.

Thank you so much for spelling that out for me, that helped. I re-ran the code with adding those four variables in just the ASSESS statement, but oddly enough it gave me the same error code. I double checked and there weren't any errors in data entry for those variables.

Hmm, not what I would have expected. If this issue persists, I'd recommend possibly reaching out to SAS Technical Support to see if they can help resolve the issue. For this type of problem I suspect they'd likely ask if you can share the data with them since it is tricky problem to diagnose.

That said I would also second @SteveDenham suggestion of trying to match on precomputed propensity scores as demonstrated in Example 98.8 of the PROC PSMATCH documentation. You can see if PROC LOGISTIC provides any additional information about possible issues with fitting the model or maybe if it helps resolve the issue.

I believe there was a bug in PROC PSMATCH fixed in SAS/STAT 15.1 where observations that had missing values for variables listed in the ASSESS statement but not the PSMODEL statement were not used to fit the propensity score model. This is grasping at straws, but if there are missing values in any of those four continuous variables, this bug (assuming you're using a version of SAS before it was fixed) could lead to different propensity score models and explain why you see the error message when you only add the variables to the ASSESS statement. Matching on the precomputed propensity score values predicted by PROC LOGISTIC would be one workaround for this issue (if it is the issue).

It is starting to sound like a complete or quasi-complete separation issue when the continuous variables are included. I am not familiar enough with PSMATCH to know if there are alternative algorithms (like Firth) for fitting the logistic part. The last example in the online documentation does present how to use PROC LOGISTIC first to generate a data set, and then use the PSDATA statement to import the logits. You might consider this approach and see what happens (no guarantees at all on this, though).

I came to canada from india, right after that i contacted samsung support got region switched to canada. So all good

My girlfriend made the new account in canada with first her first samsung (so region is canada)

One of my devices (iPad mini) will not download a new app ("not available in your country/region"). My other two devices (iPhone, iPad Pro) on the same Apple ID downloaded the same app just fine. It's a standard US app.

We would like to see how we can help you with your iPad mini. Do you receive the same error if you connect to a different Wi-Fi or cellular connection? Are you downloading from your previously purchasesd section of the App Store? Are the date and time correct on your iPad? Go to the Settings app. Tap General, then tap Date & Time. Just to confirm, are you following the steps in this link to check the country? Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support

Hi guys, Im trying to get up and running with spine, and to start I took spineboys setup and adjusted the bones to fit my character. Setup an animation, followed the export process, and got up to attaching the .json file to my SkeletonData asset. I only get an error of

do not seem available in the runtimes that Im using, ie ingesting from contextual menu. It also appears that the editor is capable of reading .atlas and .json files without the additional .txt suffix.

It looks in the atlas for a region with the name from the error message, but it doesn't find it. Open your .atlas (or .atlas.txt for Unity) file with a text editor and see what it has for the region names. Probably you have the wrong path, eg maybe you have images/part in your atlas file instead of just part.

I've got the same mistake with a whole new spine object I have made.

It's a really simple object, just an orb moving up and down.

When I put the JSON in the Skeleton Data it just says : "Missing region 'orbeOhiti' "

As you can see, for whatever reason the export process removes the _# . I renamed those files and attachments to names like left_wing1 instead and confirmed that works to fix the issue. Hope this helps someone
