Hi neighbours,

Wet weekends are around the corner, and Storybook Buddings is launching a brand new parent participation morning program that's warm and dry!

Almost every Saturday until March, from 9:30 - 1:30, our cheery space will be open to families, with fresh coffee for parents, sustainability-focused crafts, snacks, and loosely organized activities for kids aged 1 - 6 years. No membership or commitment required! The drop in fee is $10/family (bring the whole gang!), and the schedule for the season is at http://buddings.ca/storybook-saturdays

The kick-off holiday party is this weekend!

Vegan eggnog! Festive films! Cookie decorating, and at 11am, the GREAT RE-GIFT EXCHANGE!

If you've ever received a gift that didn't fit your style or needs, this party is a chance to switch it for something else! And pass it to someone who might really want it!

Bring your wrapped unneeded gift to the party at 1438 Cedar Cottage Mews (next to the Kensington VPL) to participate. We are also accepting small gift donations for the neighbourhood-led initiative Operation Donation, which is not a charity, but rather a local family trying to make the holidays warmer for people on the Downtown East Side.

Join us this weekend, for the season kick-off party, or most any Saturday through the winter.
