Xterra schedules are now on Xterraplanet.com.

Xterra is being touted as coming to England for the 1st time, (but I thought it was here for a couple of seasons at the turn of the century). Anyway, it's the w/e after World Champs at Hyde Pk.

Paul (et alia ) - Czech Xterra is as promised , in Bohemia, 2nd w/e in August.

I am almost certain I will miss the UK race entries will be full b/4 I can verify getting successive w/es off work.
I am almost certain I will get to Prague, banking on the race not being full by the time my rota is printed in July. However you'll probably want to make plans before then -
Flight to and hostel in Prague, then train  to Bohemia . Previously Prague's cost me 30ish, train 20ish and Bohemia - 3.50 - 20 a night. Costs which would be cheaper sharing.

Babs would love to do an Xterra.
Maybe if the come uk way I would be easily persuaded.
Lots on this year and can't make any trips abroad for events.
I may very well qualify for the Ultra Trail de Mont Blanc this year though for a run round and up some of the peaks of the Alps next year. Wooo hoooo.

I fear I wasn't clear - The UK race is definite. Over the course  you all ,yet again, declined to join me on last yr, up the road in Vachery. Camping , music - the usual sortie I highlight as deserving to be Wackiecentric.
As I've said before the organisers are an offshoot/hybrid of south coast favourites REP races. However given the new Xterra franchise (and it not being in Eastern Europe or Marbella) I expect those who missed out last yr will face a hefty price hike to join this yr's fun.

For anyone interested they are also staging a closed road tri this yr. Outside of megabucks London this has got be a 1st on 'normal' - as opposed to Sussex promenades / Dartford industrial parks.
