playback speed 2x is gone, 1.5x is new max?

I have a droid max xt1080 and after a recent update dice player is only allowing me to go to 1.5 playback speed on videos, I usually run at 1.7x and it previously went up to 2x. Anyone else having this issue and know a work around?
