The requirement here is we will be having replicated hard disk which will have application data at primary site and we want to detach it before SRM initiates the shutdown of VM at the primary site. We have requested to detach it through our program to vcenter. However our request was turned down by vcenter since SRM was doing the configuration changes to protected VM!.
