Diapo slideshow is no more supported. I just released a new, improved
jQuery slideshow called Camera: http://www.pixedelic.com/plugins/camera/,
it has some skins, more features than Diapo and an adaptive layout (it
can also be a fullscreen slideshow). Use it and share it, it's always
free.

Hi Manuel
Great JOB!
I would like to donate, do you support PayPal?
Also i strated to use the new Camera gallery and there is a slight issue when using the NON minfied JS file on IE7 the gallery is not showing or starting .
When using the minified version, its fine.
One more question , in the diapo i could use transitions (fromLeft, fromRight..etc) for HTML elements inside the canvas, is that also supported here ?
Thanks

Hi Moshe,

I think I fixed the problem you were talking about.

About Paypal: thank you, on the Camera demo page there are many forms you can use if you want to donate something... really appreciated :-)

The transition for the HTML elements is no more possible. You can only select between no transition or fade transition: the fluid layout makes hard to extend the moveFromLeft, moveFromBottom etc. transition for this kind of elements. I'm sorry.

Manuel :-)

I See,
Thank you .
Another thing i realized and which is the main reason for me to move to the new camera gallery from diapo, is the dynamic resize of images. but realized that when there is an image that is smaller than the canvas area it gets enlarged and pixelized(of course i choosed portrait:true in order not to get imaged cropped), so i overwrite the CSS class of the image to height:auto, height:auto, but then the image gets aligned to right for some reason and not aligned vertically. Is there something im doing wrong ?

Hi again,

the images in Camera fit the container, so they are resized of course, it's the only way to fit the container, I'm sorry.

Please, use the Camera Google group: http://groups.google.com/group/camera-slideshow

Hello Manuel,
I've downloaded your new Camera script but can't get it to work on IE8 but everything is working perfectly on Firefox.

Hi Oscar,

please use the dev. version (not minified) to see where is the problem. If you prefer send me your page URL.

Will you be releasing Joomla version of Camera?

Hi cerhutch,

sorry but I'm not a big fan or an expert of Joomla, but I know that other guys used Camera for a Joomla module. Just google a little.

Manuel :-)
