So i been having a problem w/ some of my mods for a while now and I did not find any posts about it (maybe there is but i didn't find any) so i figured I could be the first. Well the issue is that when i use the nexus mod manager and look at the plugins section, i noticed that theres several mods that is not functioning because of a missing file (Armorkeywords.esm MISSING) where the text is highlighted in a red text which leads me to the conclusion that its not working :( .

Heyas 1ak - I think the filehost has corrupted a part of the archive. I had the exact same issue that you're having. I downloaded, attempted to reinstall, tried again, and then tried again. Finally, I tried unpacking the archive myself. It got almost all the way through it, but when it got the FOMOD files in the archive, PowerArchiver (handles pretty much everything, RAR, ZIP, 7z, etc etc) it couldnt do it. It fell flat on it's face and quit trying.

Try this. In the game menu screen, click on mods. Then search of keywords on the bethesda site, through the game. Download AWKR from them. That's what I did, and so far I haven't had any problems with missing dependancies. I haven't actually played since then tho, so I dunno if that version is up to date.

Is the missing master in the Neutral Vertibird mod or another mod? As far as I can see the Neutral Vertibirds at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community mod only relies on the fallout4.esm and the NeutralVertibirdsNoSchematics.esp relies on the Fallout4.esm and the NeutralVertibirds.esp. if you hover the mouse over the esp with the red triangle you will get a pop up telling you the missing master.

If you followed the fomod installer and installed the mod, the installer will rename the esp to "Neutral Vertibirds.esp" no matter which language selected. If you selected the manual install you will get "NeutralVertibirdsEN.esp" or "NeutralVertibirdsDE.esp" this will cause the NeutralVertibirdsNoSchematics.esp to have the missing master, "Neutral Vertibirds.esp". This is the only way I could reproduce the missing master in the second esp.

I have just finished re-installing everything. That is MO2 and all of the mods. Upon reinstalling I have an additionsl situation with the "Neautral Vertibirds". After re-installing I got the same results as before. In addition now When trying a fresh download fron Nexus MO2 is telling me that "a file with the same name has already been downloaded. Do you want to download it again? The new file will receive a different name". I stoped the download. I don't understand. I made sure the first Download was not in the Downloads File, it is not in the list on the right side and it is not in the list on the left side.

No, but it sees it in the actual downloads folder in MO. Basically, when you reinstalled, you didn't do a complete wipe, just an overwrite. Not an issue, but because this installation didn't do the download, it treats it as if it had been hidden by the user in the downloads tab... so the file is there, just not visible in MO. I'd recommend checking and clearing out the downloads folder in MO, then downloading again.

I have to think that you are probably right. I am going to try for the third time. I have searched every conceivable place for that file and have come up with zero. I just wish I could solve the other two problems with the "missing masters" and also the problem With "setting the data directory" when trying to install two mods before I go the third time around.

Not saying this to be combative or anything, but the Vertibird mod I linked has a FOMOD folder inside and acts like one when installed. Is that the same mod you have? If not post a link. Also post a picture of the problem with the vertibird mod this may help.

I might also suggest to going over to the MO Discord server and downloading the latest developer build in the # builds section. Links are on the Mod Organizer 2 for Skyrim Special Editon - Nexus page . Scroll down to the reporting issues section. A lot of work has been done to the program since the 2.1.3 release. You can just copy it over your current install.

If you have a better one, Please share. Perhaps if you would, could you walk me through the install. I must be doing something wrong. I went to the mod site and left a post there but no answer back yet. It looks like the mod has been abandoned by the author. What exactly would you like a photo of and how would I post it here?

You should have 19 DLL files along with a data folder here and one of the files should be GamebryoBase.dll. If this file isn't here, something is off with your Mod Organizer installation. Either Mod Organizer wasn't installed correctly or perhaps your AntiVirus software decided you don't need this file and deleted it for you without question or notification. Unfortunately, some AntiVirus software cause more harm than good and aren't worth the trouble.

If the file is here, right click Gamebryo.dll, select Properties, and look toward the bottom right of the Properties dialog for an Unblock button (Windows 7) or an Unblock checkbox (Windows 10). If you see the Unblock button or checkbox, this means all of the executables in the Mod Organizer folder are blocked and Windows 10 or your antivirus software may be preventing the file from loading. If this is the case, you'll need to select, right click, click Unblock, and click OK on every *.exe *.dll file in the Mod Organizer folder. This is somewhat painful because you'll have to do it one file at a time.

I get missing or invisible textures while running them, for example from Piper's body her head is only visible and parts of light armor. Apart from that buildings textures are missing too. What may be causing this and how to fix?

Having same issues with all Nexus mods that have custom textures. Invalidation isn't the issue, I've gone through all the mods downloaded with NMM manually to check if they were okay and also checked if F4SE had a hand in annoying me, but no, no matter what I do, I keep having the issue. Can't fix it, and now I'm up on 5+ hours searching through the files...

Having this problem after I tested adding ghoul leveled spawns near sanctuary. After it started i removed the plugin I made, still persisted. At this point I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Fallout 4 and it persists even when I only have fallout4.esm enabled.

A "mod" is a package (archive) of related files that make some change to the "vanilla" (unmodded; as delivered by the publisher) game. Within a "mod" package can be a number of "asset files" which add to or replace the existing vanilla assets (meshes, textures, sounds, animations, XML files, etc.), and one or more "plugin files" that tell the game about the existence and use of the new assets and where they are placed in the game. The "plugin" files are the only ones that appear in the "load order", which determines the sequence in which the game engine loads them into the game from the "top" (lowest numbered) to the "bottom" (highest numbered) position in the sequence. "Plugin" files have one of two possible file extensions: ESM and ESP. There is generally only one ESM file, but there may be any number of ESP files (including none). The ESM files are loaded first, and are considered "masters" to the ESP files that depend upon them.

Official game expansions ("downloadable content", known as "DLC") typically are provided as ESM files along with other "assets". They may or may not include ESPs. DLC are usually sequenced in the order they were released but this is not mandatory unless they depend upon an earlier DLC. All DLC depend upon the game's original ESM file (i.e. "FalloutNV.ESM") so it should always be first.

(For the technical distinctions between an ESM and an ESP, see this ESP vs ESM wiki article. Remember that the capabilities of "Construction Set" tools vary by game but the concepts related to the same game engine endure.)

A "master file" is one which must be present for another plugin to be able to utilize it's resources. The files which require some "master file" are known as "dependencies", because they "depend" upon the assets of the "master". Typically these "masters" have an ESM file extension, but this is just a general guideline. A file is technically considered an "ESM" because it has that flag enabled in the file header, which is normally not visible to the player. Thus an ESP file can have the flag enabled and be treated as if an ESM file to include loading with other ESM files at the top of your "load order". In addition, an ESP file from one mod may be required by another ESP, in which case it is also considered a "master" even though in all other respects it is "just an ESP" and may appear lower in the "load order" ... but still should be above any dependent plugins.

The game engine requires that a "master" be loaded before a "dependency" or it generates an error. Usually this results in a "Crash To Desktop" (CTD). If a "master" file is missing when the game starts, this CTD can occur during or even before the "loading screens" are displayed. If you get as far as the game's main menu once it has finished "loading DLC content", you are not dealing with an actual missing file problem, but rather one that is out of proper sequence in your "load order". This will also cause the game engine to display that same error message.

"Dependency" files are supposed to include a list of their "master" files in the file header. This list can then be read in turn by tools for sorting the "load order", such as LOOT. Some plugins are "patch files" which modify other plugins. They depend upon the presence of the other plugins to effect their changes, yet may not have them as "direct masters" or otherwise included in their list of "masters". These "indirect masters" may need to be manually identified and either added to the plugin's list or that information provided to the sorting tool. (LOOT uses the "required" metadata field for this purpose only. It can find all listed masters by following the chain in the header of the file. See it's included documentation on the use of metadata.) If they are not included, the sorting tool cannot determine the proper file relationships, which leads to CTDs and plugin conflicts.
