Job Title: QA Automation Tester

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6 Months contract (possible of contract to hire)

Job Description:

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
  
• Need automation experience plus Silk and/or C# development. We’re also going to be looking for leadership skills, a strong background in TDD, and experience establishing test management processes. 
  
• Ability to adapt to changes in scope, schedule and assignments quickly (learning on the fly) with little or no direction. Provide guidance, support and mentorship to teammates. Self-motivated to learn about and stay current with new and emerging testing technologies and capabilities. Thorough knowledge of Premier products and business domain. Full latitude for independent judgment when writing validation criteria and writing and executing test scripts. Implement, monitor and improve methodologies and best practices across the service line. Enhance current manual, automated and load testing methodologies. 
  
• Capable of leading or providing oversight to multiple projects and ensuring quality in each area 
  
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.  Review and provide feedback on test plans and cases of others. 
  

Required Skills:

• Bachelors Degree 
  
• 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in software engineering 
  
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting 
  
• Experience with Test Driven Development 
  
• Experience implementing test case management systems 
  
• Experience with modern IDEs, build, test and delivery tools ( Silk, Selenium or HP ALM, JUnit, TestNG, NCover, Git, Jenkins) 
  
• Direct experience in either SilkTest or C# Development (preferably both) 
  
• Understand the various AUTs and the test automation requriements, and how that impacts the selection of appropriate test automation frameworks, tools, and solutions. (Lead Eng has most resp here)
