This topic describes what Xbox services Title Storage is, what its features are, and demonstrates how to configure them. The Xbox services Title Storage service provides cloud storage for large amounts of per-player or per-game data. You can use it for storing player statistics and assets. Games running on all Xbox platforms can use Title Storage.
There are no limits to how many reads and writes a title can make per minute, but it generally can't make more than one per minute on average, per one-hour session. For example, a title can make 60 reads or writes at the beginning of a session, but no more for the remainder of the hour. Titles should be hardened against making more calls later, in case Xbox services needs to throttle the requests.
Binary information includes things like images, sounds, and custom data. Because the data must be transmitted over HTTP, binary data must be encoded into characters that HTTP accepts. For example, you can convert the data to hexadecimal strings, or use base64 encoding. Title Storage doesn't process encoded data, so your game must use the same scheme for encoding and decoding data when reading from and writing to Title Storage.
JSON information includes structured data (key-value pairs). You can use JSON objects in languages that support them, like JavaScript. When you retrieve data from JSON files, the game can supply a selectQuery parameter to return specific items within the structure. For example, you could use a JSON file that contains the following information.
Configuration blobs are data structures that are stored in global title storage. The format of a configuration blob is similar to that of a JSON object. Configuration blobs can include virtual nodes that return a setting from a list of possibilities. Virtual nodes are useful for providing settings for specific situations such as for a title or locale. The virtual node includes several possible settings along with values and conditions for selecting from the values. In the following example, the defaultCardDesign setting can have one of the values in the virtual node.
When a game reads this file, the system selects one of the values from the \_sourceNodes array. In this case, the item is selected based on the game's title ID. For example, players playing the game 12456799 would see the following:
There are multiple ways to add titles to your slides in PowerPoint. Use the Layout option to create a standalone title slide or to add a title to a slide that contains other text. You can also use the Outline view or the Accessibility ribbon to create and update the titles of your slides.
To add an off-slide title placeholder and move the cursor to the placeholder, select Add Hidden Slide Title. Because the title is positioned off-slide, it will be invisible during a slide show, but the title is available to help users navigate or select the slide.
If there is no title placeholder on the slide, to let the Accessibility Checker select the text box or shape that seems most like a title, select Set as Slide Title. This makes the selected object your slide title. If there is another text box or shape you want to use as the title, select the object, and then choose this option. Only objects with text that aren't in groups can be made into a title.
If you want all or many of your slide titles to be hidden, use Slide Master view to achieve it. Duplicate the slide layout for which you want to have hidden titles. Then on the duplicate layout, move the title placeholder off-slide. Then apply the new layout to the appropriate slides.
If PowerPoint doesn't allow you to drag the placeholder that far, use View > Zoom to make the slide surface area appear smaller so that there is adequate room to move the placeholder fully off-slide.
If you want the same title on every slide, you may be thinking of what PowerPoint calls a footer. For instructions on putting footers on your slides, see Insert or change footers in PowerPoint slides.
Helping various PowerPoint features work correctly Design Ideas, Apply Layout, and Reset Slide work better on slides that have titles. Insert Hyperlink, Insert Zoom, and custom shows all refer to slides by their titles.
