I've managed to break windower in a strange way, and i understand if support is difficult since I have what could be qualified as an unsupported setup. This started occurring yesterday the 25th, I run the windower.exe i get the "windower" splash screen and it proceeds no further and crashes. I've narrowed the problem down to the using of softxpand. turn it off, windower works, turn it on, crash. I have not rebuilt the machine yet nor uninstalled/reinstalled windower, it's on my to test list. Softxpand allows for a multiseat session on a windows 7 machine one of it's quirks maybe compounding the windower.exe. Any suggestions are welcomed, I will let you know my results on the softxpand re-install when i get to it. Thank you for your time reviewing this post.
So I have a brother who comes over a lot and we like to play video games together. The thing is I usually put him on my laptop and I take my nice desktop system. The laptop is kinda crap. i7 integrated graphics 12gb ram 250 ssd but the keyboard doesn't work so we have to use a separate keyboard. The graphics also isn't the greatest thing. I thought about doing what linus did but I don't have that hardware available nor the ability to get it. So my question is how about software that allows two users on one computer? Is aster a good idea? Is it safe(no spyware or malware)? The only other one is softxpand but it is only good for windows 7 and it looks more iffy. Here is my desktop setup
