Hello,

I'm wondering is there any status on the development and integration of suggestion chips into Dialogflow CX specifically?

Hi Josh,

At the moment, Dialogflow CX does not yet have an integration that supports the Suggestion Chip rich response. You can view all currently supported DIalogflow CX integrations here: https://cloud.google.com/dialogflow/cx/docs/concept/integration

For the meantime, you may consider creating your own integration that supports the Suggestion Chip rich response. You can send a suggestion chip response payload to your own integration by adding a Custom Payload dialogue option in the Fulfillment section of your CX agent.

However, note that you’ll have to create your own implementation on how you’ll display the Suggestion chip response payload that you received from Dialogflow in the front-end of your integration.

You can create your own integration by making calls to Dialogflow CX’s V3beta1 REST API using the detectIntent method: https://cloud.google.com/dialogflow/cx/docs/reference/rest/v3beta1/projects.locations.agents.sessions/detectIntent
