As you probably know, Miraculous is animated by different studios, and that's the reason why some episodes look better than others. In this post I'll discuss my opinions about each of them. If you disagree, please tell me why.

SAMG animated 26 Season 1, 14 Season 2, and 12 Season 3 episodes. Their animation is the best, but as you may know they won't be working on Season 4. They are, however, working on Miraculous New York and Miraculous Shanghai. Throughout the Seasons their animation has got better and better, with the Season 3 finale being their best episode, yet. Personally, I'd say that Santa Claws has the worst animation of all SAMG episodes, even though it's better than almost every episode of every other studio.

Assemblage only did Reflekdoll, and they amazed me. The episode looked like a SAMG one, and it was better than some SAMG episodes. There is a small problem, however. After @Bunnybug pointed it out, I couldn't stop seeing it. Throughout the episode they showed the characters teeth waaay to much. Hopefully the teeth problem will be solved ?. As for the studio, Assemblage is the smallest of them all. They have done only 4 films, and only 2 TV shows, one of which is Miraculous. The other, Trollhunters: Tales of Arkadia (intended The 100 reference) is very well animated. My younger cousin watched it, and it's on Netflix. I really think that Assemblage will be the worthy successor of SAMG.

Yes, I agree with you on Assemblage. Remember each studio has improved so Reflekdoll being their first episode is a good sign. It's not perfect but I'd say It looks better than some of the S1 episodes.

Same Starry. I did notice some animation was especially eye catching but didn't really pay attention to the differences until the whole SAMG leaving situation. When everyone started complaining that we lost the best studio.

Ok, so you guys know about the whole animation thing with Miraculous and how different studios do different episodes. It used to be easy. Really only two studios and they had distinct styles, but now there's like 4 studios working on the show at the same time. I've noticed lots of misinformation about which studios did what animation that has been spreading around. People are pretty bad at identifying the studios for this show. Some studios get blamed for something another studio has done (like Assemblage and Artage are commonly mistaken for each other). If you use past episodes and pay attention closely to the art style, it becomes pretty easy to point out which studio's style is prominent in any given episode.

If you want to know how I did this, all you really have to do in order to know who did what episode (if you don't have an artist's eye is to see) is to see how Shadow Moth is designed. A big problem with this show is that even within two episodes done by the same studio, the rendering and the lighting can be so inconsistent (unless it's SAMG). So, there's no easy to way to point it out unless you go by design, specifically Shadow Moth. Basically, here's your guide:

This is pretty much it. It's pretty easy to connote physical differences especially when you see what you're working off with previous seasons. Now I ask all of you now which Hawk Moth do you prefer, or hell, which studio?

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir (French: Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir; commonly abbreviated as Miraculous Ladybug)[9][10][11][12][2] is a French animated magical girl superhero[13] television series created by Thomas Astruc and developed by Jeremy Zag. The series is produced by French companies Zagtoon and Method Animation and co-produced with Japanese studio Toei Animation's European division, and several international companies.[a]

In developing Cat Noir, Astruc said that ladybugs represented good luck, so it was natural to partner her with a black cat character with bad luck powers. Cat Noir was a tribute to comic characters, like Catwoman. So it was like having Catwoman and Spider-Man in the same show but reversed genders and roles.[30]

In 2010, the show was announced at Cannes' MIPCOM with French production groups Univergroup Pictures and Onyx Films heading the project and working with Method Animation and Zagtoon. Aton Soumache of Onyx and Method[36] said that they want "to create a glamorous superhero character with a real European flair with Paris as [the] backdrop." The producers had also planned to animate it in stereoscopic 3D (currently, the show is produced using CGI animation).[28]

In the summer of June 2012, Toei Animation Co., Ltd. (known for Sailor Moon, Digimon, PreCure, One Piece & DragonBall) the famous Japanese animation studio branch owned & operated by Toei Company, Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan, was announced as co-producers, alongside its European division.[36] Two years before 2012, Toei Animation had released a PreCure film that was set in Paris, France, and was very interested in expanding their international audience.[30] Even after the production moved to CGI animation, Toei still remained co-producer, with the executive producers from the company being credited.[37]

The whole anime concept was a complete success; but there were concerns about the marketability of traditional 2D animation and the difficulty in animating Ladybug's costume of red with black spots, as it caused some strobing effects.[30] Executive producer Jared Wolfson said that Zag wanted the animation to be cinematic and epic, unique and different, and said that they are continuing to partner with Toei as it brings in the Asian inspiration and that a 2D version of the show might be a potential product for future purposes.[46][47][48][49][50][51]

Kimberly Cooper, a blog writer who has contributed to news media such as The Huffington Post,[97] wrote that the show has inspired teens and adults to create and propagate Miraculous remixes and liked that the show featured multiracial characters as with the film Big Hero 6, which had won an Oscar. She "quickly realized there was a far cooler and broader Miraculous movement underway".[98] Caitlin Donovan of the entertainment website, Epicstream, listed it as one of her top 10 animated series of 2015. She wrote that "the characters are so charming that the tropey aspects of the show are merely a lot of fun, rather than irritating" and commended the fight sequences and CGI animation. She wrote that "Marinette is an adorable lead who is genuinely awkward as a civilian, but confident as a superhero, which makes for an interesting contrast."[99] Ella Anders of BSCKids wrote that the show stands out because of "how it meshes both the magical girl and superhero genre together".[100] Robert Lloyd of the Los Angeles Times described the show as "clever, romantic, fun, the way some of us prefer our superhero stories". He found the characters to "have the look of extruded plastic common to CGI cartoons", but "within these limits the design is lovely and the animation elegant, and a lot of work has gone into the staging and execution of the action scenes".[1]

Honeybee facilitates the merging of environmental analysis and conceptual design platforms, and has profoundly impacted our studio's design process. We now have greater flexibility to communicate information between architectural and engineering teams, and can facilitate a workflow that leverages the unique skills of both professions. For our team, this translates to an approach that balances intuition with computation, and helps us strike a balance between aesthetics and performance.

Miraculous season 1 was animated all by SAMG studios, for an unknown reason though they will not be working on seasons 4 and 5. Sign this petition to possibly motivate them to keep working as the main animation studio for Miraculous Ladybug. They are the best studio working on the show, go to @wayzzworld on Instagram for comparison pictures between all of the studios.

As most fans know, a Miraculous Ladybug movie is in the making, the reason that SAMG will not be working on the show anymore may come down to just money. In my opinion, I would rather they delay the movie and keep SAMG as the main animators for the show instead of the other way around, if that is in fact the situation. Hopefully in making this petition, SAMG will see how much the fans love them for making Miraculous beautifully animated, and will possibly work on the show again. Fans of Miraculous Ladybug- if you want the show to continue looking the best, sign this petition to keep SAMG as the main animation studio for MLB. If even cancelling the movie will be what it takes for them to stay, show your support here, please. I am a huge fan of the show and the visuals are a main factor of enjoyment, so, Ezra, Jeremy, Thomas, if you happen to be reading this- know how much the fans love SAMG and will do everything we can to have them stay, thank you.

We set aside reality when watching the show, but these are undeniable shortcomings. The animation studios no doubt have to save money for the more important elements, so Sailor-Moon levels of wardrobe were never expected, but Adrien is a model and Marinette is a fashion designer.

Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, is a popular animation series that has captured the hearts of a great population of the audiences worldwide. Created by Thomas Astruc, it is a French-Japanese collaboration that combines elements of big superhero action, romance, comedy, and fantasy. The series first premiered in 2015 and has gained a massive following, particularly among children and teenagers.

One of the standout features of Miraculous Ladybug is its visually striking animation style. The series boasts vibrant and eye-catching visuals, with a mix of traditional 2D animation and CGI. The characters are beautifully designed, each with unique personalities and distinctive looks. Ladybug and Cat Noir, the central heroes, are portrayed in sleek and dynamic costumes that perfectly capture their superhero personas. The animation brings the action sequences to life, with smooth movements and visually exciting choreography.
