Up to 6 Phoenix Inverters can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 24 V 5000 VA units, for example, will provide 24 kW / 30 kVA output power. Operation in 3-phase configuration is also possible.

Motor power connections from the Drive Module to the motor can be made with cables which have a female MS style connector on the motor end and four individual wires and shield that connect to the motor power connector on the bottom of the Drive Module.

HT and MH motors equipped with brakes have a separate three-pin MS style connector for brake power. The brake power cable (model CBMS-XXX) has an MS style connector on the motor end and three wire leads on the Drive Module end (see Figures 42 and 43). For Unimotors equipped with brakes, the brake wiring is contained in the motor power cable.

You must provide a DC power supply rated at +24 VDC with a 2 amp minimum current capacity for the brake. If you use this voltage source to power other accessories such as I/O or more than one brake, you must increase its current capability.

The MDS is able to handle short drops (glitch) on the AC Input Power without interruption to system operation. If the DC Bus voltage drop is greater than 250 VDC the System Ready Signal will go Low (not Active). If AC Input Power is applied before the DC Bus voltage drops to 60VDC the Power Module will re-enter Soft Start and the Ready Signal will go High (Active) when the Soft Start is complete. If the DC Bus voltage drops below 60VDC the system will need to be reset for the Modules to power-up.

Only Position Feedback Encoder can be preloaded serially with a value after power-up. The Pulse Mode Ratio parameter includes a numerator which represents motor revolutions, and a denominator which represents master pulses.

Whether shipping a single battery, a palletized load of batteries, or a battery-powered device, the safety of the package, and those who handle it along its journey, depends on compliance with the HMR. Failure to comply with the applicable regulations may result in fines or even criminal prosecution. Refer to 49 CFR 173.185 and the resources below for detailed requirements related to shipments of lithium batteries, including those contained in electronic devices.

If you're taking a flight, you can bring your laptop computer, cell phone, camera, tablet, or other lithium battery-powered devices! These personal electronics pose lower risk if certain conditions and limitations are followed, such as preventing inadvertent activation. Spare batteries, including baggage equipped with lithium batteries, can be packed in carry-on baggage if steps are taken to protect against short circuits.

Conveyor systems now offer data transparency for the first time. The EC5000 with the bus interface allows users to constantly obtain data on performance as well as information on the number of cycles or operating hours. This means users can precisely analyze how well and, above all, for how long our products are working. The EC5000 will remain available with the long-proven analog interface. However, the bus interface based on the CANOpen standard opens the door to the world of fully automated Industry 4.0 functionality.

The b maXX 5000 power supply unit functions as a system rectifier and supplies the connected axis modules with power via the DC link. By realizing 3 different installation sizes over a power range of 5 kW to 200 kW, the user advantages of modularity and flexibility of the b maXX series are consistently implemented. The power supply units achieve peak outputs between 7.5 and 300 kW. Outputs up to 300 kW are ideal for dynamic movements for which high peak outputs are needed short-term.

The b maXX 5000 devices are available with standard air cooling, cold plate and push-through water technology cooling methods. The choice of cooling method depends on the b maXX 5300 or b maXX 6300 axis units.

Baumüller offers a safety solution for the b maXX 5000 in which the electric motors are not shutdown locally in the individual motor converters, but centrally with an STO module (Safe Torque Off) integrated in the power supply unit. This reduces the installation work and wiring required for the drive system, which leads to reduced manufacturing costs.

With the DC link capacitance unit, the braking energy for dynamic applications can be temporarily stored and used for the subsequent acceleration. Can be used with devices of the b maXX 5000 and 6000 converter generation.

The DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer enables cable testing and certification for 10 Gigabit Ethernet deployments - whether it is an existing Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A or Class FA cabling system, the DSX tests to all industry standards. The electrically centered test plug results in the Level V accuracy designation introduced with IEC to support field testing to Class FA, 1000 MHz. The DSX exceeds the IEC Level V specification with less than half the allowable crosstalk margin, assuring you of higher confidence in results over the full frequency range. Higher performance cabling systems like Cat 6A have less tolerance to interference and less noise margin in general. Additionally complex Alien Crosstalk link-to-link certification is simplified by integrating the measurement capability into each copper module for 10GBASE-T testing.

Fluke Networks' DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer meets the Intertek (ETL) Certification in accordance with the IEC-61935-1 specifications for accuracy Level IV, the draft accuracy Level V and in accordance with the ANSI/TIA-1152 specifications for Level IIIe.

Managing the testing of multiple jobs with multiple teams, testers, and requirements is time consuming and can be hard to manage. Increasingly larger jobs make project organization more important than ever. The new ProjX management system on the DSX- 5000 provides individual project files for all job specific details to be saved under a simple name. Eliminating the need to re-enter job specific details after starting a project. This minimizes set-up errors or lost files when switching from one job to another or utilizing multiple testers on a single job. In addition, it provides test results by cable ID, merges any changes without duplicates and always defaults to the last copper or fiber module installed. ProjX management system provides real time status to completion on each job with a 0-100% scale and gives the operator the option to isolate any test requiring a second look and helps to assure nothing is overlooked. The "Fix Later" selection creates a punch list or automatic to do list for correcting any workmanship. ProjX enables project managers and crew leaders to be truly efficient.

Leveraging the popular and multi-featured LinkWare management software application, DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer users can easily access the ProjX management system data, generate reports, and upgrade the software in their testers. Project Managers have full capabilities to manage workflow and consolidate test results. Users can provide the finishing touch by adding their company logo to the report and offer it unaltered to their customers for system acceptance purposes. Keep your business tools simple, no matter which Fluke Networks copper or fiber tester you are using, LinkWare is the software package that reports it all

Depending on the scope you have, the available options for decoding your CAN signal will depend on the compatibility. For all the DPO/MSO2000/3000/4000/5000 and MDO3000/4000 Series scopes, there are modules or license keys specifically designed for CAN bus decoding that can be purchased. Once you have obtained a CAN bus decoder module, simply insert it into the scope and power it on. To initiate the decoding process, ensure that your signal is displayed on the screen and then activate the Bus option. The key elements of the setup involve configuring the correct scope channels and threshold levels. At this point, your signal will begin to decode using the CAN bus decoder functionality. For further customization, select your desired bit rate. For a comprehensive demonstration of CAN decoding and triggering features on these scopes, we recommend watching the accompanying video, which covers all the essential features and functionalities related to CAN decoding and triggering. You can also refer to our CAN Bus Troubleshooting Guide for other tips and tricks.
