This is my second post about the same issue. Every time i open vanilla autocad,Civil 3d opens instead. I tried creating a desktop shortcut, but same results. I am running windows 10. I am now erasing every autodesk application on my computer and starting over. I do not know why this is happening. It only began when i installed the student version of civil 3d. I cannot find an answer on this site, and the help i have received has not worked. Is there any way to speak with someone who might walk me through this issue? This is extremely frustrating to a new user, can anyone show my some screenshots of how to fix this issue? Thank you. ALso, i do not even know if i am in the right department to ask this question, this place is less help than the dmv.
Please tell us exactly how you're opening AutoCAD, whether by double-clicking on a drawing file or opening a desktop shortcut icon. If you last had C3D open, when you open any DWG file then C3D will open. It remembers what you last used.
