The answer to this depends a lot on where your soundpools came from originally. They could have been obtained through a huge variety of systems and sources, e.g. bundled with older Music Maker or Music Studio version (disc or download), older Soundpool DVD Collections, Catooh downloads, downloadable soundpool installers from www.magix.com, etc. So, this would make a big difference, and there would be different ways to recover them, depending on the specific situation. If you did purchase them via the Music Maker in-app store system within a more recent Music Maker generation, you will simply be able to recover them via the in-app store system again. Just make sure you're signing into the in-app store system with your MAGIX customer account - using the very same account/e-mail you used to purchase the content in the first place.

I just bought the Music Maker Premium edition today. I was in the process of setting everything up. I went to the soundpools and soundpool collections. I selected the items I'm interested in and clicked on the commercial license and I'm confused. Why do we have to pay for the commercial license for the items that we get for buying a specific edition? There's nothing on the sales page that says you have to purchase an additional license for the products included in your purchase. Did I miss something?

Thanks for your response John. My intent for buying the software was to create music I would sell. Thanks for the link to the EULA. Nothing in there talks about having to pay additional money for a commercial license for the soundpools and soundpool collection that you get as part of your initial purchase of the software.

Nothing on the sales page in the section that talks about soundpools and soundpool collection say anything about having to make additional purchases for each commercial license in order to use them for commercial purposes.

This thread was about the use of Soundpools for "Commercial Use", i.e. to "make money". You yourself write that the soundpools were free for personal use; quite correct, and they still are! Nothing has changed in this regard at all!

I had problems too with in app sold soundpools, i do think there should be an option for commercial royalty free without having to separately enter producerplanet to do so, and yes it's mentioned there, non-commercial, but it's easily forgotten when using in app buying in the first time (happened to me) Pretty annoying to buy it twice, when finding a nice soundpool set. At least add that option before buying there. While i'm just a hobbyist music maker, i prefer to buy commercial royalty free ones to avoid any hassle if i publish them on youtube or similar online services, not for earning purposes though, but for saving them if hard drives dies.

I love using soundpools! I usually purchase them directly from the soundpools dock within Music Maker, but today I purchased one from producerplanet.com. It was described as an "ACID Loop Collection." I downloaded and extracted the zip file, and manually moved it to C:\Users\Public\Documents\MAGIX\Common\Soundpools\Shop to be with all my soundpools, thinking it would appear the next time I launched Music Maker. It never showed up, so I used the "Add new Soundpools" tool from the Loops options gear, and tried selecting various levels within the file hierarchy. Then I "Rescanned Soundpools" from the Program Settings gear. My new collection is .wav files, so I changed my preferred soundpool format to .wav and went around again. It still doesn't show up. I updated my software, reset my program settings, but nothing has helped. Maybe the collection I purchased is just not compatible with Music Maker? I am using Music Maker version 30.0.4.44, and I am very sad.

By default my soundpool settings were set to .ogg. I now changed it to .wav to get better quality files but it didn't download the .wav files. Does anyone know how to force it to redownload the soundpools after the settings were changed?

Dark electro sounds at more than 120 beats per minute. Deep, futuristic and techno; this is the music that's waiting for you in this collection. With more than 5,000 inspired house, drum&bass, dubstep und electro sounds for dark nights.
