Cyberpunk2077 is an infinite realm of open-world possibilities. With an array of different areas to explore, Cyberpunk's quick-scan mechanic will make looting easier. Players will be able to learn more information about the objects and people surrounding them. From locked doors to NPCs, Cyberbunk's quick scan mechanic is convenient.

There's a certain degree of difficulty when it comes to exploration in Open World RPGs. There comes the point when players become annoyed by looking under every rock and opening every drawer. Especially when that action has its own animation tied to it. Ghost of Tsushima did a great job of streamlining the resource gathering mechanic. So did Assassin's: Creed Valhalla.Cyberpunk allows players to use their bio-tech to mark any POIs in the surrounding area quickly. Here's how to use the quick-scan in Cyberpunk and how players can use it most effectively.

On PlayStation, holding L1 will pull up V's bio-tech eye and allow them to hack and scan the environment. While looking around in scan mode, items of interest will mark themselves. V will be able to tag enemies, hack tech, and tag loot-able containers. Players can quick-scan the environment by simply clicking L1 to see any items they can pick up. This works similarly to Eivor's Oden Sight in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. However, in Cyberpunk 2077, the items will tag and stay tagged. Players on Xbox and PC will have to tap whatever button they'd normally hold to pull up their scanner.

Players can use the quick-scan to familiarize themselves with the current area and return to the items they'd like to grab after dealing with any threats. The quick-scan makes looting much faster, as V won't be wasting time opening random drawers and containers. Quick-scan will also let players keep track of any hackable tech that V may use to their advantage. Hacking is a huge component of Cyberpunk 2077 and should not be overlooked for brute strength and firepower. Not to mention Hacking can earn you Street Cred, Cyberpunk's most important leveling feature.

Players will reveal far more information if they hold down the scanner and look around. Since V can walk and scan simultaneously, as long as they're in cover, there's no reason not to get a more accurate picture. Players will feel as if they're harnessing their inner Terminator as they scan people, doors, and tech.

Not having to meticulously inspect and search every nook and cranny of the world makes any Open World RPG more accessible. Players can focus more on combat, driving, and exploration than wasting time watching their character open a drawer to find nothing but rubbish. Players can only hope their Cyberpunk experience continues to grow as bugs continue to be found and rumors of multiplayer surface.

Quickhacks can be either pre-installed in your Cyberdeck (device quickhacks), unlocked by perks (vehicle quickhacks) or found throughout the world and slotted into your cyberdeck (antipersonnel quickhacks).

RAM

Each quickhack requires available RAM units to be used (Cyberdeck RAM is located on top of the scanner menu). RAM recovers automatically over time.

Attributes and Perks

Assigning attribute and perk points into Intelligence directly affects your proficiency in using quickhacks as well as RAM cost and recovery rate. It also allows you to unlock special abilities such as Quickhack Queue (allowing you to upload multiple quickhacks to a single enemy) or Overclock Mode (allowing you to use your Health to upload quickhacks when RAM is insufficient).

Note: it is possible to open Hacking tips by pressing U key (Left Stick / L3) in each Quickhack menu.

It looks like you are using Google Chrome. You probably should stopif you can. Google is a monopolist, and uses Chrome as an avenue tosurveil billions of people, and dictate the future of the Web as aplatform. Chrome also has a spotty security history as Google is morefocused on restricting your use of ad and tracking blocking technologythan it is on making a secure platform.

If you are using a Mac, Safari is a pretty good browser and at themoment Apple is a slightly less exploitative monopolist than Google. If you use Linux or Windows then you're basically stuck withFirefox, which is OK if you turn off all the garbage the Mozilla Corporationhas put in to try to be more like Google.

Now naturally you need to own Cyberpunk 2077 for this bit. You can of courseuse different audio if you do not own a copy of the game. To extract theaudio I found a thread on redditfor extracting the in-game radio stations and separately athreadon the ambient synthwave station. In the end you can use the modder's utilityCP77Tools to extract theaudio_2_soundbanks.archive script into a bunch of WEM files. These appear tohave OGG Vorbis audio in aWwise container. Thereddit threads suggest wem2ogg and revorb to convert them but I found that tobe a little bit glitchy and so I used a different tool calledvgmstream.

I extracted the soundbank into a directory (D:\TMP) and created the followingbatch file to convert the audio to WAV files. There is some documentationin it on how to configure where your copy of vgmstream andwwiseutil are located.

I had previously updated the script I wrote in the previous blog post toinclude some additional filtering so the music ducked when transmissionswere received. I built upon that script here to instead support a BGMplaylist instead of a stream. It includes a health check so systemd canrestart the service if the stream terminates. It does assume it is runningon the same host as Icecast is running on.

While this worked for the most part, looping a playlist forver with ffmpegseems broken even though it appeared to work at first glance. Systemd wouldrestart the service but sometimes it would be down long enough to cause thestream to terminate. I tried several different workarounds but nothing wassuccessful. Instead I setup ezstream tostream the Delamain audio files in a loop to a separate mount point to theIcecast server and then updated $MUSIC_SRC to point to the URL of thestream (removing -f concat and -safe 0 from the ffmpeg command lineas well).

I happened to be doing this while there was a bit of a rag chew going onover one of the local HAM radio reflector nodes and that provided a goodtest bed to make sure everything was working. The various stations werea little more verbose than the usual traffic I hear on the other scanner(which is mostly the local Sheriff's dispatch). It gave enough trafficto listen to the playlist repeat successfully. I know ffmpeg can bea real bear sometimes so hopefully this helps someone out.

First of all you want to be max Street cred and have the story fully finished then start each area by first doing the scanners which will make remaining gigs that you may not have unlocked appear on the map its worth knowing that you have to complete some gigs to unlock others. If you are unfortunate and complete everything and the trophies doesn't pop first try reading all your shards sometimes you get a follow up mission next skip days between night and day some scanners are time specific then try calling the fixer that the job is for and clicking all dialogue options or in my case there was a scanner in heywood that once completed activated one in pacifica

You don't have to complete story, just have level 50 street cred and all gigs and ncpd scanners will pop on your map. However some will appear after completing others and some will require you to go outside that particular district to complete (usually just to collect something)

Only thing I have left to platinum is scanners and gigs but I stopped playing before doing any. I read about so many bugs with them and trophies not popping. If I follow this advice is this foolproof for me to get back to the game and get all of them, or are some legitimately broken and need to wait out a patch?

I was able to get it on the ps4 the most buggy version... so I really think most of these reports are from people that are missing something and not bugged out... sure there is a chance that it will legitimately glitch out but following peoples steps above should help you get it

Keep in mind that sometimes you just need to send message to Regina to complete gig, or to loot a briefcase from location on the other side of city. Also look into your shards and search for city district you are not getting trophy from (colour logo on the left).

Hi everyone I have a problem ... in the heywood neighborhood I have one of the three criminal activities (blue skull on the map) that when I complete it I don't get the "job completed" message, I'm afraid this thing could block my trophy. Has anyone happened?

I am experiencing something similar to this but on the east side of Westbrook. There is a factory with a lot of enemies and turrets that I completely cleared and the mission is just there. I looted the small container, I killed every single enemy, and the mission will not complete.
