If you have about six days to walk, let me know! Amtrak from SD to Santa Barbara is about $35, I heard. I can help you get a ride from SB to QS!

We could shorten the walk by about 20 miles by getting a ride out Santa Barbara Cyn. Trail conditions for about 20 miles of the route are unknown and could be somewhat challenging (brambles, down trees, etc.).
