Peace Net Rotary International

March 2012

Dear Rotary Peace Centers Community,

In less than 60 days, over 400 people will assemble in Bangkok, Thailand, to participate in the 2012 Rotary World Peace Symposium and Rotary Alumni Celebration. They will include about 150 Rotary Peace Fellow alumni plus current peace fellows, other Rotary Foundation program alumni, Rotary Peace Center directors, distinguished faculty members, guest speakers, Rotarians, and their guests from around the world.

What’s being celebrated is the 10th anniversary of the Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution, but what’s really being celebrated is the profound impact that Rotary Peace Fellow alumni and alumni of other Foundation programs are having on their respective communities.

In addition to celebrating, participants will discuss ideas and methods for promoting peace. This, combined with meaningful networking opportunities, is what our third Rotary World Peace Symposium is all about. We invite you to join several hundred like-minded friends at the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center in Bangkok, 3-5 May.
