I agree with Diane, 

It will be a lot of trouble to pick and choose which dirt we want to move and if the equipment and laborers are not $0.00 it may very well just be cheaper to buy good soil.

We will be putting together the beds and preparing them for soil. We need battery operated screw drivers (please let us know if you have one that we can use). Maybe the city will help us out by lending us a backhoe to load some of the dirt into the truck. Or, maybe we just pay for it. It now sounds like a ton of work. In other words...if it costs $500 to move some dirt, how much would it cost to go buy a lot of soil from Lowe's. Tony at Ace might cut us a good deal, too.
