I attended movie night this week and was happy to see the great turn out.
I watched the film with you and listened to coach talk about the importance of team character.
After the five games I watched yesterday I can proudly say you have Team Character.
Character was defined Thursday night as not what you do when you win or succeed but how act and what you do when you have a set back or failure.
Congratulations to our Juniors and Seniors for leading our team in a encouraging and positive manner.
- positive support of the team
- no blame attached to mistakes
- instruction and support of team
- no foul language
- respect for coaches and officials
Demonstration of true Character!
Congratulations to our Varsity Freshmen and Sophomores.
- Positive attitudes with high energy
- Taking on any opponent regardless of size or skill level
- Hustle through entire 5 games.
- Just plan Tough
Again true Character!
Yes we did count 5 losses yesterday but the increase in Team effort and spirit throughout the day is hard to measure and will serve you well in the coming year.
Congratulations on playing with great Team Character.
A few points for parents and players to consider
1. Coach Sopko was not allowed to be at the tournament. Our coach can only do conditioning and work with our students two at a time during the off season. He is always available for private instruction with your son and a teammate before or after school.
2. We participated in the off season tournaments to expose the boys to as much field time as possible before the regular season starts.
3.This tournament was designed to showcase high school students to recruiters for potential College play.
We went in knowing it would be difficult.
4. Jim Fox, and two other volunteer coaches stepped up to support our team during the tournament. Thank you coachs for the incredible job you did with our boys.
5. We have another tournament scheduled at Georgia Tech on December 6th and 7th just a few short weeks away. Guys please take advantage of CrossFit, wallball and 2 v 1s before this tournament. This will help with some of the soreness,aches and pains and also prevent injuries.
6. We are having troubles with google groups communications. We're working on correcting this problem and improving team communications. if you're not receiving emails please let me know.
A big Thanks to Mrs. Sylvia for getting our team through registration.

Please hit the wall a few times during your week off.
