Driver updates for Windows, along with many devices, such as network adapters, monitors, printers, and video cards, are automatically downloaded and installed through Windows Update. You probably already have the most recent drivers, but if you'd like to manually update or reinstall a driver, here's how:
I have a few handheld radios that I need to update the frequencies and when I connect to the USB, it fails to connect. In device manager and Ports it says - "Please install corresponding PL2303 driver to support Windows 11 and further OS"
download driver support windows 7
There is a working driver at _id=225&pcid=41, a bit down the page listed as "DCHU (for PC Vendors)". Getting it installed is a bit tricky, it seems. What I did is this:
First install the downloaded driver by unpacking the zip file and "pnputil /add-driver *.inf /subdirs /install" (the /install is probably not necessary) from the extracted "Win11_DCHU" directory. It will add the two driver packages to the driver store and tell you what oemXY.inf files it has assigned to them.
Then "pnputil /enum-drivers", and in the output look for Prolific drivers other than the ones from the previous step. I had only one other entry, a "ser2pl.inf" version "09/16/2021 3.8.40.0".
Disconnect the device, and "pnputil /delete-driver oemXY.inf" with the INF file you located in the previous step.
Connect the device again, and it should work, at least, it does for me. The problem is probably that the non-working driver is the newest (September 2021 vs. July for the ones from the download page) and so Windows prefers it over them.
Windows 11 update loaded Prolific PL2303 driver 3.8.40.0 and when I go to device manager it says "Please install corresponding PL2303 driver to support Windows 11 and further OS" This driver does not even attempt to communicate with my X10 CM11 hooked to my serial port. I had to go to Prolific website and load their current driver 3.6.81.357. (uninstall driver first) Serial to X10 device now working fine. Don't install Windows update for Prolific or it will change it back.
In response to requests from customers for more detailed lifecycle information to help plan and manage hardware and software deployments, Surface is offering additional guidance on our driver and firmware updates.
This lifecycle policy covers driver and firmware releases for Windows-based Surface devices. The lifecycle begins when a device is first released and concludes when Surface ceases publication of driver and firmware updates on the End of Servicing date. The following sections define the lifecycle policy and End of Servicing dates.
OS version support defines the operating system versions Surface supports during the Device Support Period. Surface devices will receive driver and firmware updates for Windows OS versions released in the prior 30 months. Surface will not support Windows OS versions earlier than those supported at device release. To see the minimum supported OS version for your Surface device, visit the Surface supported operating systems support page.
Once the device support period is concluded at the End of Servicing date, devices will continue to receive Windows OS feature and security updates per the Windows Lifecycle Policy as described on the Microsoft Lifecycle Policy support page.

3 Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Driver version 2.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 JDBC Driver version 1.2 can connect to SQL Server 2008 as a down-level client. When down-level conversions are allowed, applications can execute queries and perform updates on the new SQL Server 2008 data types, such as time, date, datetime2, datetimeoffset, and FILESTREAM. For more information about how to use these new data types with the JDBC driver, see Working with SQL Server 2008 Date/Time Data Types using JDBC Driver and Working with SQL Server 2008 FileStream using JDBC Driver. For more information about the down-level compatibility of these new data types, see Using Date and Time Dataand FILESTREAM Support articles in SQL Server Books Online.
The Microsoft JDBC driver is designed to work on any operating system that supports the use of a Java Virtual Machine (JVM). Some commonly used platforms include Windows, Windows Server, Linux, Unix, AIX, macOS, and others.
The VCI V4 (Virtual Communication Interface) is the driver interface for Ixxat Interfaces under Windows. Based on the VCI customer specific applications can be developed for communication via CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and Industrial Ethernet (see supported APIs).
Besides drivers and programming APIs, the ZIP packages contain also manuals, programming samples and further add-ons. The canAnalyser3 Mini tool is included in the VCI V4 download package and enables first analysis steps within CAN networks for the Ixxat CAN(FD) PC interfaces. canAnalyser Mini is automatically installed during the driver installation.
A device driver is a piece of software designed to help your machine communicate with your mobile device or computer. Brother drivers allow your Brother printer, label maker, or sewing machine to talk directly with your device. This allows the machinery to understand data sent from a device (such as a picture you want to print or a document you want to scan), and perform the necessary actions. Think of your Brother printer driver as the translator who helps your technology to communicate more effectively.
A fully updated and functioning Brother printer driver ensures smooth and streamlined communication between your printer and your laptop or mobile device, so there are no unexpected surprises or issues with the printing process. How do you install a Brother driver? Read on to find out!
So how can you tell that your Brother driver might need an upgrade? There are a few hints that can indicate you should check if there have been any updates for your Brother printer driver. These include:
Install optional drivers for your printer manually in Windows 11 Select Start > Settings > Windows Update. Select Check for updates at the top of the page. Windows Update might find an updated version of your printer driver. To use it: Select Start , then select Settings > Windows Update. .Select Check for updates
I'm going to agree with CathyO that the device was launched a long time ago and we don't have a W11 only driver, however, if you go the the Drivers and Downloads for the device, and filter on W11, it does show we have a compatabile driver, Drivers & Downloads - WorkCentre 6015 - Windows 11 - Xerox.
While I don't have a 6015 , I was able to install the driver on W11 and it appears to work.
I suggest you uninstall the printer you have, download the driver from the link above and try installing again. Unfortunately, if this does not work, there's not much we can help with on the forums, so you would need to reach out to support.
I have facing much familiar thing with me I have windows 10 but I am unable to download proper driver I couldn't even install successfully still waiting and search drivers which is comptiable with my windows 10 bit 64.
I can plug in my MX410 to my XPS 13 which is running Windows 11 and my PC can SEE the printer in My Devices when plugged in via USB but no drivers available on the site are allowing the driver install process to detect the printer during installation. I am assuming this is because no drivers have been made compatible for windows 11 but would appreciate staff verification or any sort of work around.

This is a late reply, but I was able to get around the problem of using the MX410 with Windows 11. What worked for me was to unplug the printer from a Superspeed USB 3.0 port (blue center) and plug it back into a regular USB 2.0 port. I was then able to install the Windows 10 driver and the printer was recognized and prints good..
Hi -- I never obtained an updated driver, but a month or two after my posting my Windows 11 computer miraculously recognized the MX410 as a wireless printing option. Of course that was after I bought a new printer thinking the 410 wouldn't work any longer.
When you install a USB device, the drivers should be installed first, before connecting the device. Problems can arise if these steps are not followed, including future detection issues. In that case, you can review Device Manager with the device connected, and see if it appears with errors, yellow triangle , red exclamation point
The Lexmark Universal Print Driver provide users and administrators with a standardized, one-driver solution for their printing needs. Instead of installing and managing individual drivers for each printer model, administrators can install the Lexmark Universal Print Driver for use with a variety of both mono and color laser printers and multi-function devices.
With only one package to manage, testing and internal certification of print drivers is simplified by the use of the Lexmark Universal Print Driver packages. Time spent on installation, both on servers and workstations, is greatly reduced, and hard drive space formerly occupied by many product-specific drivers is now diminished significantly.
