Apparently, the entertainment weekly run of issues with the "enhanced ads" is limited to 1000 copies, and the phone inside is an ABO 810, which is worth about $40 if you buy it online.  It's still pretty interesting that someone was willing to wedge a smartphone into a magazine ad.

Don't necessarily rush to your local news stand in Wisconsin for one of these, unfortunately. From one of the articles: "...the ad is included in just 1,000 issues of the October 5th print edition, which is only available on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles...."

Bummer.
