Barcamp Milwaukee is coming in just over 2 weeks. As in the past it
will be held the first weekend in October, so this year it will be Oct
6th and 7th.

If your planning on going make sure to check the campers page and make
sure your on the list. Just having an account isn't enough, you need
to make sure you check the boxes on your profile for the days you will
be attending. Please take a few minutes to make sure, this really
help the people involved in planning with head counts.

I do plan on attending Bar-camp,however I don't plan on sleeping in a tent.. I am currently looking for a close hotel to the Bar-camp. Is anyone else stay the night? Where you guy staying?

I was planning on Saturday and Sunday but I would be willing to go Friday as well.

Thanks
Jason.

I either stay up all night (getting more rare each year) or just find a dark & quiet spot to put down a foam pad and a sleeping bag for a few hours.

Th closest hotel to Bucketworks is probably the Iron Horse, which is a high-priced boutique hotel... if you've got a car though, you can probably something either downtown or near the airport.

Oh, and here's a list someone made once: https://barcampmilwaukee.org/travel-lodging-and-accommodations

So Mike will be riding with me down to Milwaukee. I have room for one more. I could even fit two but the backseat would be kind of full.

Can I take the last seat in the car? I'm really excited to go.

Paul I think you take the last seat belt in Jason's car!

So, Jake/Paul, my intent is to stay up/overnight at Bucketworks. Is that
also yours?

If so, I can bring a large dome tent that will do well to partition our
stuff/sleeping area from the general attendance Sat. evening. If not,
I'll probably be fine just bringing a sleeping bag and a mat.

I plan on staying up all/most of the night, and enjoying all the fellowship of the smart geeks.
I think it would be a good idea if you brought a tent, that way we can have a safe home base to store our stuff, plus we can catch a Z or two if needed.
I'm only bringing my laptop, my PI project box, and a sleeping bag.

Then I will have dome tent in tow for BarCamp Milwaukee 7!!!

Probably have room for one or two more DHMN persons should the need
arise. Normally we can fit a family of 5 with camping gear.

Now to figure out what topics/sessions I want to present/participate
in...

Car is full! I will be sleeping at a hotel but I plan on staying late for the hacking and fun times.

FYI 63 bucks at the Red Roof Inns
